We got too tired and fell asleep wherever we could.

When we woke up we decided that working together was taking to long so we both worked on separate rooms. I started with the laundry room and he went ahead and did the bathroom.

This went on for the rest of the day; him painting one room and me painting another.

"God damn that took for fucking ever!" I practically yelled as I walked into the kitchen. He had just finished up painting it so it was nice and fresh. We were finally done!

"I'm really tired," he said.

I nodded. "Same here."

By now it was back to being dark outside. "So, what do we do now?" I asked.

"Well I guess we just sit on the floor and wait for them people to bring our damn furniture."

So that's exactly what we did. We sat still for about 7 minutes then I plopped down laying on my back. I could feel eyes burring into me. I just ignored it for a while. But then I couldn't do it anymore.

"What?" I asked. My hands automatically went up to my face to make sure there was nothing on it. I didn't feel anything.

"Nothing. I just realized how amazing you are."

"Amazing? What are you talking about?" I was confused. Really confused.

"Well you are just a really amazing person. You've gone through so much and you never whine or complain or anything. You are so thankful for everything you have and you thank me for helping you get some of it in any way possible. You clean, paint, pick out furniture and everything else when you really don't have to cause this isn't your house. But I'm thankful for you being here cause you are amazing."

I could feel my heart welling up for this awe inspiring guy in front of me. After all he was the one to let a total stranger stay in his house. "Thank you," I said softly. I had so much more to say, and I think he realized that, but he just let it go cause there is no way I could put into words how thankful I was for him. Not right now at least.

We sat there in total silence waiting for those people to arrive. I tapped my foot on the floor and started thinking.

I've been here for like five days and I still have no clothes, we are outta food, I don't have a phone or anything to connect me to the outer world, and to top it all off I have no absolute way to pay for it all. So with that dreadful thought, I knew I had to make a decision: live off Ty like a low life or get a job and pay him back for everything later. I picked option two.

"Hey Ty?" I asked.

"Hm?"

"I.....uh.....well I was thinking that...... I don't have any clothes or a cell phone or anything..... and were going back to school in like a couple of days and I really need that stuff so..... I'm gonna g-"

"Oh yeah! How could I forget? Well of course I'll buy that stuff for you. I can't just let you run around naked now can I?" he cut me off.

I frowned really hating the fact that I was having to live off of him. I felt terrible for making him do all this for me but right now the only thing I could really do was to accept his offer and work to get a job later. But he was right, first I had to have clothes to wear to this job. So I thought of him buying all this stuff for me as a loan. "Well I promise I'm gonna get a job and pay you back for everything."

Now it was his turn to laugh, "Avery, my family is rich beyond belief. They have more money than Donald Trump! You don't have to pay me back for anything."
