My eyes open and I gasp for air when I realize that I felt no pain. Am I dead? I sit up and look around. The blood that surrounds me is not my own, but the blood of the man who tried to kill me.

There is a bullet hole in his upper chest where the blood is spilling from. I stand up and look toward the front door to see Sandra, gun still raised in the air. I quickly walk toward her and take the gun from her trembling hands.

I wipe the tears from her face and allow her to lean against me for support. I glance over and see Ellen still tied up on the floor. I walk over, Sandra still leaning against me. I sit San down on the ground and turn my attention toward El.

I carefully remove the duct tape from her mouth. As soon as it is out of the way, she grabs my shirt and pulls me toward her. Her lips crash against mine.

I hesitate at first with surprise but quickly begin to kiss her back. All of the passion and love that I had so carefully hidden from her came pouring out into that one kiss. Her fingers touch my chin, her wrists still tied together.

I place one hand on the ground to keep us from falling over and the other hand on the back of her neck. Her tongue runs across my bottom lip, teasing me, before she pulls away.

We stare at each other, gasping for breath. The corners of her mouth begin to turn up into a smile. I smile widely and kiss her one more time quickly.

"You have no idea how long i've wanted to do that." she says.

"I think I can imagine." I tell her. I begin to untie her wrists and then untie her ankles. I help her stand up and then wrap her in a tight hug.

"I thought he was going to kill you." she whispers. I kiss the top of her head and sigh. She suddenly pulls away and hits my chest.

"Don't ever volunteer your life like that again!" she says angrily.

"I volunteered my life for yours. I can't say I won't do it again. Because I would. I would give up my life for you in a heartbeat." I tell her.

I grab her hand and help Sandra to her feet. I pull them both to my chest, rubbing their backs comfortingly.

"I killed him." Sandra finally says.

"Shhh. It's alright." I tell her. I feel her tears soak through my shirt, wetting my chest.

"I don't feel safe here." Ellen says, looking at the men.

"You can stay at my house. I'll call the police and take care of this mess." I tell them. They nod and we walk outside to my car. I drive them to my house. I walk in and see Jill on the couch.

"Where the hell have...what are they doing here?" she asks, crossing her arms. "Did you not know I was here? You brought two girls home so you could do...whatever the hell you had in your sick mind?"

"They're going to stay here. I wasn't going to sleep with them, I knew you were here." I tell her. I begin to walk them up the stairs when Jill stops me.

"Why? I didn't approve of this."

"It's complicated. I'll explain later. But right now, they need to rest." I tell her with a serious tone. She nods and walks back to the living room. I show them the guest room we have.

"I hope you guys don't mind sharing a room." I say embarrassed.

"No. It's perfect. I didn't want to be alone." Ellen says. I feel the urge to pull her close to me to comfort her but I brush the urge away.

"Okay. I'll be back soon." I tell them, closing the door behind me.

---------------
Ellen's POV

He closes the door and Sandra sits on the edge of the bed. I sit beside her and lean my head on her shoulder. She hasn't been okay since she shot that man. Her face has been void of any emotion. I sit up and look at her intently. I nudge her with my shoulder gently.
"San, you didn't do anything wrong." I tell her. She opens her mouth slightly and then closes it again.
"Who knows how many other people you saved by getting rid of him." I tell her. She looks at me and then back to the wall. I sigh and stand up. I grab her arms and pull her up as well.
"Sandra Miju Oh, listen to me. You have done nothing wrong. You saved mine and Patrick's lives. You're my hero. I will owe you my life until the day I die. But so help me, if you do not snap out of this, I will....I will do bad things to you." I tell her, not actually having a plan. She stares blankly at me, almost as if she is looking right through me.
"Sandra!" I say again. Nothing. I grab her hand and tug her out of the room and into the bathroom. I push her into the shower and turn the water on, letting the ice cold water spray onto her body.
She jumps and gasps, trying to maneuver herself out of the water. I pull her out and hand her a towel.
"What the hell?!" she shouts. I smile and pull her in for a hug. She hesitantly hugs me back. The door opens and I turn to see Jill standing in the doorway with a glare on her face, her cold eyes staring right into mine.
"I don't know what happened and why you two are here but let's just get one thing straight. Patrick is not on the market, so stop trying to buy him. Get it?" she asks.
I nod and blush. She rolls her eyes and walks away. I hear Sandra start to laugh from behind me but I am unable to move, paralyzed with shock.
Sandra gently pushes me and I turn around to face her with a scared look on her face. She looks at me confused.
"What?" she asks.
"She's right." I tell Sandra.
"About what? She was way out of line accusing you of those things."
"She has a right to be afraid. I think I do love him." I whisper to Sandra.
