Today was Saturday July 2nd 2016 and Steven 6th birthday. Since it was Saturday, Steven was at his mother's today. As I've previously mentioned, Steven loves football therefore he had a football party (as usual). Like most other kids on their 6th birthday, he decided to getup at 5:30 - to open presents.
Every birthday for either of the children, they'll go to the parents house that they would usually go to on that day. The only difference is that the day after the big day they would go to the other parent. Despite the fact that life is tough with divorced parents, it's also brilliant so then you can get more presents. This year Steven was promised something huge from both parents. But, what could it be? Would they both remember?
Usually, Steven would ask for presents but this year he couldn't think of anything cheap. He has nothing in the console category other than a ten-year-old Xbox original.
Things circled around his brain:
- Newcastle United season tickets, he lived in Newcastle, his local team was called Scarborough United even though they don't even play in Scarborough
- Xbox one or PS4
- He would like a phone but of course, everyone says that he's too young
- A TV in his room
Eventually, when he went downstairs to open presents, he was welcomed by an enormous box; all of the above could fit in the box. Not only that but there a huge poster reading - Happy 6th Birthday Steven!! As he slowly walked over to the box of his present, he couldn't stop wondering about what was inside.
He looked inside of it and turned around with a full face of utter disbelief. It was the thing he had always wanted! It was...
