Chapter 1: Counterparts

"How much longer would he make me wait?" Crystal said as she was patting the soles of her shoes impatiently while looking at the time at her PokéGear

She impatiently fodle with her PokéGear resiting the urge to call "that person" she search the contacts menu and saw the name of that person in her contacts. As she look at the name she get a lot more impatient.

"Yo Crys! "

as she is about too call the person someone call her, she turn to her right and saw a guy riding a skateboard wearing a jacket and a reverse cap with his bangs exploding outward. This is the guy she is waiting for the Pokémon Breeder Gold.

"Why are you late?! I'm waiting for about half an hour you know. Haven't someone told you not to make a girl wait?" She said with an angered tone. As she unknowingly close gap between their faces.

"Hold it Ms. Super Serious Gal. Let me explain my self first." Gold said while slightly pushing Crystal, He quite knew that the gal might be smart but sometimes can be quite oblivious of her own actions as her face is quite near his, he is kinda cautious.
Crystal pull back as she adjusted her bag and look at her PokéGear.

"Look at how much time we wasted. Prof. Oak is waiting for us!" She said and instantly grabbing his hand dragging him along.
Gold pulls back and Crystal notice it as she turn around looking at him with a questioning look on her face.

"Hey why did you stop?" She said while looking at the boy with a downcast expression.

"I can run by myself." Gold said.

She was wondering why he said that until she notice that their hands were lock together.
She immediately pull her hand back. She is so embarrassed that she is blushing heavily. She looked at Gold's while trying to hide her embarrassement. Surprisingly Gold seems unaffected. Little does she know that Gold himself is flustered inside and he is just putting on a calm face. His hands are sweating and a bead of sweat drip down from her forhead to his chin.

"Well let's go then." He smiled and threw out a Pokéball. Something came out of the Pokéball it is one of his long time companion and partner, His Typholosion Explotaro. He ride on Explotaro's back and tap its neck. With that it dashes out in a very fast speed.

"Talk about rekless." Crystal sigh and threw out a Pokéball. The Pokémon that came out from her Pokéball was Archy his Arcanine. She jump on Archy's back and tap it's neck.

"Let's show Gold what we got Archy." She said and the dog Pokémon nods.

"Archy Extreme Speed!" without a second thought the Pokémon dashes at a highspeed.
