Ashton's POV
Friday was the day we won our first game, the weekend passed and nothing new happened.... besides the fact that Trevor and Sarah were dating.
But c'mon, the whole school knew that it was bound to happen. Everyone had seen the way they both looked at each other from the start. We saw it coming, so it wasn't really shocking when Mikaeel screamed in my ear that she finally lost her first kiss to Trevor.
"He climbed up to my window! Did I mention that before? I don't think so-"
"You did," I deadpanned, "Five times." Mikaeel pouted and flopped on her belly on my bed while I was sitting on my study table, doing homework.
"Aww!" She whined, making me roll my eyes, "And then he hugged me, and-"
"Grabbed you by your waist and kissed you, right?" I dryly finished her off and she sighed.
"Meanie!"
"I'm happy for you, really I am!" I turned towards her and replied. She was hugging my pillow to her chest and sighing, "But if you seriously say one more thing about Trey, then I'm going to beat you up." I jokingly said as she chuckled.
"Beat me up? Suuurree." I gave her a pointed look and then gestured my head towards the frame on the wall. She confusedly gazed at me, before turning her head and looking towards the picture. Her face paled and she audibly gulped as I chuckled at her reaction.
First position in 7th grade karate.
"Anyways, I should probably get going." Mikaeel muttured.
"Stay for dinner." I offered but she shook her head.
"Naah. Aunt's making this Greek food called pilaf or something? She wants me to try it and everything." I nodded my head at that and helped her pile her books in her bag.
"I'll drop you off." I said but she shook her head, adn waved a pair of keys on my face, grinning. "You stole your aunt's car?" I asked, baffled, "Do you even know how to drive?"
She frowned and rolled her eyes, "I didn't steal! I just borrowed!"
"Suuureee." I stretched the word out and she scoffed, folding her arms.
"And I know how to drive!" She stomped her foot and I raised my hands.
"Didn't say you couldn't."

Monday morning I reached school, and just as me and Jess, one of the team players entered the school, people cheered and congratulated us. I smiled all the time, not believing for one second that we actually won.
Mikaeel came over to me and Jess as we started talking about random things, before Trevor came over and scooped Mikaeel in his arms, giving her a kiss.
She, obviously blushed and wiggled out of his arms, trying to push him away. Me and Jess both laughed at that, and they started talking about something.
"I wish I had someone like Trevor." Jess sighed and rested her chin on my shoulder, "They both are so cute!" I nodded at that.
"I'm happy for her." I replied, smiling. I really was.
And then my mood was ruined when Conner walked past us with his other football friends. He caught my eye and glared at me. I quickly turned around and opened my locker, pretending to listen to what Jess was saying about some film.
When I turned my head away, I saw Mikaeel laughing at something Trevor was saying, and his eyes were beaming with love for her.
A pang of pain sliced my heart and I quickly looked away, giving Jess a quick bye as she sauntered off to her class. I was really happy for her, I was.
