Sky's P.O.V.

I stomped across the crunchy leaves that covered the ground of the forest. I don't know what day it is, but I do know that it has been 2 days since I was at the clearing in the forest. For some reason in the tree I climbed up, there was a book about the Fighting Wars. I didn't read the book that instant, because I didn't feel safe, I hid the book in my bag and now I feel somewhat safe. I now live in the trees and I see pretty things from there, unlike the cold ground.

The Fighting Wars by Anonymous

The Fighting Wars were created in 1200 B.C. The wars were created to teach survival amongst adults, but children were often thrown into the wars as distractions to show clemency or not. In later years children fled their homes in order to find their parents in the games. The players of the games were chosen by nominations. The wars were later followed up by the games you know today: The Hunger Games, which are made entirely out of children. These games are broadcasted to a country and hosted in a large stadium or "arena" as they call it. The Fighting Wars are different though. In these wars, there are 50% adults, 10% poisonous elements, 30% carnivores, and 10% children. No natural resources. None. The point of this is to find a safe way to harvest edible material from poisonous elements and/or kill a small amount of the carnivores. So what do you think of this? If you are a part of these wars, then the chance of survival is low. I wish you luck to your incredible journey in these wars.
