Finding Optimus

It took me about twenty minutes to find Ratchet, Mckenzie didn't say which alley it was.

"You could've been more specific on which alley it was." I said calmly.

"My bad." Mckenzie said glumly.

"Dah, it's alright. We're still new here ourselves." I say as I turn into Ratchets alleyway.

"You know what's weird?" Courtney asked.

"What?" We all say.

"I read something like this in a fanfictions, friends were taken into the Transformers Age of Extinction world and they were actually from there but were sent to a world without them for their own safety. But we're not, at least I don't think." She said as we got out.

"If that's our case scenario, that would be pretty interesting." Lauren said.

"Hey Ratchet, anyone spot you yet?" I whisper.

"No, thankfully. But we're only a few miles away from Optimus, I have his life signal." Ratchet said.

"Awesome, let me pull out and you can lead us there." I say as we get back in the SUV. I turn the key and the engine roars to life, I look behind me and start pulling back out.

I pulled out far enough so Ratchet can come out, he pulls out and turns right. I start following behind him as he heads in the direction of the signal.

The road leads out into the countryside, all cornfields and sunflowers. We pass by the 'Remember Chicago' sign, that really sets me off.

How could they have turned on the ones who have died willing to protect us? What is wrong with humanity?

"This place really feels like home, doesn't it?" Anna asked.

"Huh?" She broke me from my thoughts.

"This place just feels like we belong here, doesn't it?" Anna said again.

"Yeah, it does." I say as I look out over the fields. Texas IS a great place, if we could, we might not ever go home to our families. But they love and care for us, so we gotta go back.

Then suddenly a grey car went zooming past us, it actually startled me. That guy went so fast-wait. Grey car? Zooming past?

Lockdown? I take a closer look and see it's just a Subaru, phew. My lord, I almost had a heart attack. If Lockdown saw us, he would kill us without hesitation.

But I've got my own weapons on me, not saying what. That's classified. My friends don't know that I'm in the CIA, and it's gonna stay that way. I just hope that we get to Optimus before Cemetery Wind does.

Time Skip: 20 minutes

Ratchet lead the way to Cade Yeager's farm, but I drive past it a little ways and pull off the road. We can't just go up the driveway and say,

'Excuse me Cade Yeager, we're here looking for a truck who happens to be Optimus Prime. He's in your barn as we speak.'

"Look! It's Lucas!" Lauren pointed to the little blue Cooper pulling into Cade's driveway.

"Okay, you guys stay here. I'm going to go talk to Cade." I said while getting out of the car.

"Why?" Mckenzie asks.

"Because I know how to talk to him. Just stay here until I come back, okay?" I state.

"Okay..." She said quietly. I close the car door and started heading towards the driveway. I'm totally unarmed, so I won't show much of a threat to them.
