The ambiance feels so much better that Lucas is alive. I mean yeah, he's kind of a pervert, but he's not that bad of a guy. I'm in Ratchets drivers seat while he follows behind Optimus, we've all been quiet this whole ride. I'm surprised that nobody's talked this whole time.

"Sarah, how did you do that?" Ratchet asked. I spoke too soon.

"Save Lucas you mean? I just did it." I said simply. I've done harder than that, Mac.

"Sarah, nobody just does something like that and say that they just did it." Anna said.

"Is there something you're not telling us?" Courtney asked. I can't tell them, if I did, my parents would kill them. Literally.

"No, there isn't." I said firmly.

"What's with the attitude?" Lauren asked.

"I'm sorry, I'm very irritable right now. Lockdown said that he'll kill me." I said annoyed. He's gonna actually have to try to, I've been in more dangerous situations than this believe it or not. On a scale of 1 to 10, this situation is a 4.

The last situation I was in a few months ago, was horrible. I lost someone close, my partner. He was great, as skilled as I am. We were best friends, we did almost everything together. The agency even sent us to a beach house in the Bahamas on our own, but we were both 17 and mature. But my partner had a laid back side to him.

But then he...you know. I keep trying to forget that mission, and I keep myself from crying. I've learned to keep my emotions in check, but sometimes I really wish I could let it out. My parents beat me every time I cried when I was younger, they said it showed weakness. I now keep myself from crying just to avoid the beating, my parents are horrible people, I just never tell anyone.

I didn't even notice that we arrived at the abandoned gas station. Cade, Tessa, Shane and Lucas got out of Optimus while my friends got out of Ratchet. I get out last, following my friends.

"Stay here while we make sure we weren't followed, we're all targets now." Optimus said as he and Ratchet turned back into vehicles and drove off. The others head into the station, while I stay outside.

There's an old picnic table, I go over and sit down. I started thinking about my partner again, I miss him so much...

A flashback.

Me and him were at the beach house over Spring break, I was in the kitchen making cookies or something. Rick then came downstairs. His black hair with hazel eyes, a few inches taller than me, and loved the color orange. He took a sniff.

"Ooooohh, that smells so good. Whatchya making, red?" He asked. Only then I had dyed my hair bright red and dark blue, I lost a bet and dyed my hair my two favorite colors. I gave him a smile, then the oven went off.

"Chocolate chip cookies, give them a few minutes to cool down. Then you can have a few." I said as I put on my oven mitts.

"Sweet. Wanna go surfing later?" Rick asked.

"Nah, I'd rather just read a book. It's more my style." I said as I put the pan on the stove to cool.

"Aw come on, Red. This is a vacation, not a book convention. When are you gonna go out and have some fun?" Rick said.

"Hey, I know how to have fun." I took that as a challenge.

"Your parents aren't here, they can't control your life." He said as he walked to the fridge. I sigh.

"I know but, I can't stand up to them. I can stand up to bad guys with no problem, but I can't to my parents. You know this." I said sadly.

"I'll admit that your parents are scary and really tough on you, but you gotta stand up to them at some point in time. It's your life, they can't control a free spirit." He said as he poured an orange margarita for me.

"Someday..." I said as I took it. My parents didn't know that I drank while down there, but it was only one or two. Just enough to make me forget my parents for a while.

"So, surfing?" Rick asked.

"Sure, let me finish my drink first though." I said as I took a sip. Rick had his own hard cider. We never got drunk either, but we did get a little dizzy.

(Skip of flashback)

Rick and I were hanging out in the living room while watching Age of Extinction for the first time on Netflix. I watched the first three, he's watched only two, skipped the third one.

The part where Lockdown rose out of the water, we both were confused.

"Who the hell is that?" Rick asked. I squinted my eyes as he removed his face shield, revealing his humanoid face.

"Why does he look familiar? I swear I've seen him somewhere before." I said while looking at him. Seeing his neon green eyes the first time, I shuddered. I hate green, can't stand it.

Lockdown was walking towards Ratchet, "He's mine now."

"That voice is so fricking familiar! Where have I heard it?" I scratched my head.

"Trailers, maybe?" Rick asked.

"Only saw one, he wasn't in it." I said. Rick started thinking. Lockdown thrust his weapon into Ratchets chest, I look back at the screen. I stare with shock and anger.

"He just killed Ratchet! That bastard! He wouldn't last long if he met us." I growled. Rick nodded.

"No he would not, you and I are two of the best agents they got." He said.

"Precisely. I wonder how Optimus and him are gonna fight it out." I said.

"Not sure. You know, I bet you could be a leader like Optimus." Rick says. I turn my head towards him.

"Are you talking to me? I'm no Optimus Prime, I've always wanted to be like him though." I said sadly.

"Are you kidding? Your hair matches his paint job, you've got that kind and caring side, and you know what to do in those situations." Rick stood up and counted his fingers with each reason.

"I guess I do." I said.

"You bet you do. And I'll be behind you every step of the way." He said as he put a hand on my back.

(Flashback ends)

"If only you really meant it, Rick..." I said quietly.

"Who's Rick?" A voice said. I jump out of my skin and see Optimus kneeling right next to me.

"Jesus! How long have you been there?" I ask, shaken up.

"A few minutes, now who's Rick?" He asked again.

"Rick was a really good friend of mine, but then..." I hold my head down.

"I'm sorry, I didn't know." Optimus said.

"You didn't know, that's fine. I just try to forget that day, but I can't." I said
