Camila's POV
"Normani Kordei Hamilton!"

That's what I woke up to, I shot up quickly and my eyes widened when I heard the voice of who I assumed was Normani's mother. I looked over at my peacefully sleeping girlfriend.

"Normani Kordei! Don't you dare make me come up these stairs!"

"Shit!" I whisper shouted, I immediately went into action. I climbed out of the bed and threw on my shorts and t-shirt, I then reached over and shook my girlfriend.

"Normani," I said, shaking her urgently,"Mani, wake up."

"Give me 5 more minutes, baby, I'm tired," Normani mumbled before she turned her head and buried her face in her pillow.

"Mani, you have to get up. Your parents are here!"

"Normani! I'm coming upstairs and if you aren't in your room I swear to god I'll make sure your ass don't see tomorrow!"

This seemed to have gotten Normani's attention because she shot up and quickly climbed out of her bed.

"Shit!" She hissed as she picked up her pants and pulled them on as quickly as possible.

"You've got to get in the closet," she said. I looked at her with wide eyes as she pulled her shirt on.

"Wha,-"

Before Normani could answer, we heard loud footsteps come closer to he room. I immediately dropped to the floor, and rolled under her bed as Normani plopped down on the edge of her bed, just as her door opened.

"Hi, Ma, how was your trip?" Normani said, casually.

"Don't how was your trip me, Normani Kordei. Why the hell does my kitchen look like hurricane Katrina ran through it?"

"Uh, I tried to make waffles," I heard Normani say,"It didn't work out very well. I'm sorry."

"Whatever. Just get downstairs and clean that mess. Your father and I are going out for a business dinner with one of his clients and if that kitchen isn't clean when we get back, me and you gonna have problems," was all her mom said before I heard the sound of the door close.

I heard Normani let out a sigh of relief, before she spoke again this time to me.

"You can come out now," she said. I sighed and climbed out from under Normani's bed, dusting myself off. I looked at her with an amused smile.

"But I'm already out," I said, teasingly. Normani laughed and rolled her eyes as she walked over to me.

"Shut up and kiss me, you cheesy idiot," Normani giggled as she grabbed me by the collar of my shirt and pulled me into a kiss.

I smiled and placed my hands on her waist. I was about to deepen the kiss but before I could Normani's door burst open again.

"Normani!"

Normani and I quickly yanked apart and we both stared wide eyed at the figure standing in her doorway.
