The next day you were working the gardens mainly just pulling the weeds that were growing amount the plants, The day was hot but you kept working not really thinking about it .
It wasn't until you went to stand up that everything started to spin . You would have hit the ground but hand landed on your hips steading you . you look to find Peter behind you looking concern.
" Are you ok ?" he asked " I think I just got a little to hot ' you told him "Well come and lets get you out of the sun " he said slipping an arm around your waist and started pulling away from the gardens.
"I am fine really Peter " you said try to move away from him but your legs still felt shaky
" you can't even stand " he said .."lets go back to my place and you can rest and cool down " he said. For some reason you panic at that
" it ok really " you said.... suddenly you name was being called . You lifted you head up and saw Rick hurrying towards you and you were you imagining the worried look on his face.
"What is wrong ? " he asked " too much sun "Peter replied " I been working in the garden all day and i guess I forgot to keep water with me " you said and he frown.
but he step forward "Here I got you " he said peter 's grip tighten on you.. " it ok I am sure your busy I can take care of her. " he said .
You were a little surprise at the Glare Rick sent Peter .."no I have her " he said and pulled you into his arms .
This was getting a little ridiculous .." I am ok guys really " you said trying to pull away from both of them but one step forward and you almost went down but Rick caught you .
" I would say no " Rick said picking you up in his arms and walking back to his house. You glance over his shoulder to see Peter storming off .
"Thanks for coming out to help.." you said " he is a ok guy but gives me a weird feeling sometimes and I definitely didn't want to be alone with him in his house " you said.
Rick walked you into the house and sat you down on the couch .."Sit there and I am going to go get you some water " he said . " yes sir " you said grinning up at him.. he didn't return it .. and the smiled slip ..was he mad at you ..
C what did you do ? you looked down at your hands .. He came back into the room sitting down beside you he handed you a bottle of water .
"Drink " he said .. you took the water and took a sip . "Are you mad at me ?" you asked as he sigh and leaned forward resting his arms on his knees. " no I am not mad .. but why did you not take water out there with you " he asked ..looking at you
" I don't know I started out and it wasn't as hot and i wasn't meaning to stay out there long .. i just got to working and lost track of time. " you replied.
"Well you got to be careful " he said you nodded " I know it wont happen again. " you said. he sat up and turned to you " and if peter gives you any problems let me know " he said.
" I will but I am sure I am just being paranoid " you said .He surprised you by taking your hand into his . Your heart took off in your chest .. and you looked up at him. " promise me ?" he said
you could only nodded unable to form words at the moment. he smiled and gave your hand a squeeze but didn't let it go and he didn't break eye contact You wish that you knew what he was thinking but his expression was unreadable..
Suddenly Crying from the baby montior could be heard . he let you go ..and grinned " sounds like the princess is awake " he said
" well you better go and get her I should go and take a shower and change that might help me too ' you said and he nodded You started to stand and he took your hand again and help you up .." you ok ?" he asked
" yeah I am good nothing is spinning " you told him he smiled " go on get baby girl I am good " you said .
You watched him walked up stairs before you slip out the door You hope and prayed Peter wasn't around you didn't feel like another encounter with him at this time
There was just something about him that didn't set right with you . But luckily you made back to your place without seeing him .
You took a shower and decide to lay down for a while.. falling asleep before your head hit the pillow.
