Rick left shortly after breakfast asking if you could watch Judith until Carol came over later in the afternoon. You agreed and after a short kiss he was gone. Leaving you with to much time to think. doubts began to flood your mind.
You shouldn't let what Jessi said effect you . You knew girls like her growing up petty and like to cause trouble. That all she was trying to do . You cleaned up from breakfast and change Judith into her day clothes and decided to let her play outside.
You grab a blanket and headed outside to the front yard. You spread out the blanket on the front yard and settled down with her spreading out her toys for her to play with . It was a pretty sunny day and you leaned back against your arms and throwing your head back soaking in the sun.
" You look happy ?" you looked up when you heard Carol 's voice " I guess I am " you replied and Carol smiled "it good you and Rick " she said . " you think so ?" you asked .
Carol sat down next to you while Judith crawl into her lap . " yeah I have know Rick for a long time and I don't think I have ever seen him as happy as he is now with you " she said .
You didn't know how to respond to that You hope that you were making him happy . " he makes me happy " you finally said. Carol smiled. "well then that is all that matters " she replied .
"Well if you have baby girl here I think I am going take a walk " you said " We can go with you ?" Carol suggested " no it ok I am sure I will be fine " you replied standing up .
You started walked down the street . It was the middle of the day so you weren't totally worried about anything happening . You just wanted to some time to yourself to think and being stuck in a house wasn't you . You were just thinking about going to see Denies . When you saw Peter crossing the street towards you. You sigh knowing you wouldn't be able to avoid him
" Hey you out for a walk ?" he asked coming up to you . " you put on your best relax smile " yeah after everything that been going on I felt like I need to clear my head " you said. he nodded
" I can understand that " he said "has Rick found out who doing this ?"he asked " no not yet " you said . he step forward closer to you making your heart race " but if you ever need time away from.. well from everything you can always come to me " he said .
You tried a polite way to get out of this situation " I should get back and check on Judith and start thinking about dinner " you said. Taking a step towards the other direction. His hand shot out and grab your hand . you stared at him wide eyed your heart about to race right out of your chest.
"Well let me walk you home then " he said leaning in his face now closer .." uh you really don't have to I mean.. " you took a step back trying to jerk you arm away from his .. but his grip on you tighten.
"Peter please " you said Suddenly you name was being called and you and Peter looked and you saw with relife Daryl hurrying towards you . Peter let you go and you hurried forward to Daryl who pulled you into his arms you buried your face in his chest
"let go sweetheart" he said as he lead you back to the house. He kept his arm around as you walked. "What did he say to you as you walked away . "it not what he said it what he made me feel. He grab me but wouldn't let me go " you said . He gives me the weird feelings " you said.
You were just walking up to Rick's house when you the door to Jessi 's house open she step outside talking to someone . you just happen to look and realize it was Rick. They stood just outside the doorway just outside your view. but you could tell Jessi was leaning forward into Rick.
You looked away with a sigh and leaned in more to Daryl " you ok ?" he asked . "Yeah I will be fine " you said as you made it back to Rick front porch. " I need to go tell Rick .. " he said you shrugged. ."Do what you have to " you said walking into the house.
Carol was reading to Judith in the living room . "You ok ?" she asked you just nodded and walked upstairs and headed towards your room. you closed the door and went and curled up on the bed . Doubts and questions whirled though your mind. You wanted to trust Rick you knew he would never do anything .. now Jessi on the other hand.. she would do anything to get what she wanted. apparently that was Rick now.
You sigh and buried your face in the pillow. Then you add in these attacks and the strange feelings you get from Peter . It was all giving you a headache. you closed you eyes and took a couple deep breaths and tried to let all your currently problems slip away for the time being as you fell asleep.
