Ch.1
I woke up with a groan as I smacked my alarm clock to turn off the buzzer. It was a Monday morning, first day of my junior year. I hoped this year would be different, get good grades and no boys.... Let's hope anyway.
I brushed my teeth and ran a brush through my thick, long brown hair and got dressed. Not having time to eat, even though my stomach was begging for food I said goodbye to my mom, got into my older brother, Sean's, car and we drove away.
"So, Natalie, first day of junior year, must be exciting." Sean said, obviously being sarcastic. Sean was a senior and totally popular, I was just the little sister who was to cool for school, but not this year, I was gonna be good.
"Can't wait." I said with a fake smile and a thumbs up.
As we pulled up to the parking lot of Master High School I saw a lot of new faces. Why was I so nervous all the sudden? I shrugged it off and made my way to the front of the school.
My best friend Piper was waiting by the doors, the wind whipped through the air wrapping her up in her light blonde hair. "Hey!" She said excitedly, "Hey" I said back.
"So did you see the new kid?" She asked me, clearly interested.
I looked over my shoulder and saw a guy wearing black jeans and a black leather jacket hiding his toned arms. His hair was a light brown and his eyes were not just your plain ole brown eyes, but they were like dark chocolate. All I could think was "...Damn."
"He's alright" I said trying not to reveal the smile that was tugging at my lips.
"Sure.... Alright, I heard he was kicked out of his last two schools for a knife fight." Piper said with a wink.
A bad boy, I thought to myself, not interested.
Leaving Piper, I walked into History, and sat down in the back row.
"Alright class," our teacher Mr. Lunt began, "since it's the first day we will start with....." And I zoned out until I saw the mysterious new guy walk in. He sat down in the only empty seat which was where? You guessed it right ladies and gentlemen, next to me!
"Mr. Wolfe you're late, I hope this doesn't happen again" mr. Lunt said a little annoyed.
"You can call me Trevor, just sayin'." Trevor said flashing a white smile.
He looked at me with those brown eyes and I felt the heat rising to my face, so I looked away, but unfortunately a little too late. I heard him chuckle which only made my face redder.
"Ok so you are going to rewrite the Bill of Rights with your partner. How would you change America. And no funny business... " Mr. Lunt said.
Trevor scooted his desk closer to mine and I held my breath not knowing what to say, so I figured passing out would be easier. I finally exhaled and we got started on the project. Could I survive that long?
