Ch. 3
My mom looked at me then at Trevor a little disapprovingly. But, I walked in anyway, beckoning Trevor to follow.
"Who's this?" Mom asked, looking at Trevor.
"Mom this is Trevor, my....... AHistory partner, friend, person." I said with a smile
"Hi, Mrs......?" He said "Stacey Green. But you can and will call me Mrs. Green." My mother said shaking his hand.
"Of course, Mrs. Green. Hi I'm Trevor Wolfe." He said with a flashy white smile.
"Well alright now if you're planning on going up there in that room of yours Natalie leave the door open." My mom demanded.
I nodded my head, and my brother who I forgot was there, nodded at Trevor with a straight face and left the room.
"Sorry about my mom." I began "she can be a little, well a lot, annoying."
"It's alright, all parents are liked that around me." Trevor said as he sat down on the window seat.

"So you just talked all night?" Piper asked as she set down her lunch tray.
"Well yeah, what else would happen? We just met." I said. Piper smiled and started singing Blurred Lines while she used her creeper face. I shoved her and she giggled.
"But seriously Natalie, he is hot, jump on it while you can."
I considered it but pushed that thought away and said "where is he anyway? He wasn't in math and I don't see him here." Piper shrugged and we ate our lunch.

When i got home, i sunk into the cozy old couch and turned on the TV. A reporter popped up on the screen and the headline was:TEENAGER ARRESTED FOR MURDER.
At first i thought nothing of it, but then Trevor's mug shot flashed on the screen. my heart stopped and i shot straight up, took the keys to Sean's truck and sped away.
On the way to the police station I was trying to think of something to say to Trevor, but the only thing in my head was the bold headline on the TV screen. Why would he kill someone, I asked myself? Did he actually kill someone? If he did, then who?
I almost missed the turn into the police station, trying to imagine Trevor in handcuffs and behind steel bars.
When I walked in their was a swarm of cops and ringing phones. Typical day at the office I guess. I saw an officer and asked about Trevor, the officer responded with, " Yeah I know him. He's in a holding cell, probably hoping for a bail, he clearly won't get it with a murder this violent."
What they hell was that supposed to mean?
"Yeah wait what?! Violent? Forget it. Can I see him?" I asked.
"Uh, yeah let me go ask if he wants any visitors."
"Yeah, ok, thanks."
They put Trevor and me in a small, dark room with metal two metal chairs and a metal table. We were silent for what seemed like forever, just me staring at him and him looking down at his hands. I finally broke the silence, "Did you do it?"
"Do what?" He asked dumbly.
"You know.....kill the dude?"
"You mean the woman and no I didn't, just caught in the wrong place at the wrong time."
"Are you lying to me?"
He fell silent.
