"I don't want to do the deal anymore"

Maya's POV
Josh had no idea what I meant when i said I don't want to do the deal anymore. He frowned when I said that I giggled he looked up and said why are you laughing. Because I don't want to do the deal anymore I don't want to play the long game anymore. He said oh and started to get off the subway this time I didn't laugh I got up and pushed him against the wall and held up my locket I said you promised me that you wouldn't forget about me and to me that's the same thing as leaving and I can't deal with another person I love leave me again. He just looked at me waiting for me to keep talking so I did. I said I don't want to do the deal or play the long game anymore because I want more for us. I don't want to just hold hands for 6 weeks out of the year I love you I always have since the Christmas you told me I was gorgeous. I knew you wouldn't agree to boyfriend and girlfriend at the ski lodge so I came up with my stupid deal and then you came up with yours. We agreed to do both deals. But I wanted more than that I've always wanted more. He started to talk I shushed him. Joshua Matthews I want to be your girlfriend and I always have wanted that. I don't care if you want to keep it a secret I just want to be able to go out with you and call it a date not worry about breaking the deal. Josh started to talk
Josh's POV
Maya still had me against the wall I listened to every word she said. And I loved every word she said except the part when she said she would keep it a secret if I wanted to but that would feel like nothing had changed from the deal we made I smiled at her and said I want you to be my girl friend to. She giggled again and I picked her up and carried her out of the subway and I brought her to Riley's
