Chapter Veintidós

First off I'm sorry for not updating and I could tell you why but it's just an excuse and excuses are not acceptable where I come from. Just know that I might not be updating this book daily like used to. Also I'm debating if I should post one of my originals. What do you think? Anyways here's the next chapter!

I dragged her into her bathroom and grabbed her brush.
"Are you teasing my hair?" Parker asked
"Yep." I nodded
When I was done all that could do was smile at her.
"You look uglier than a troll you uggo."
"That's the nicest thing you ever said to me," She faked cried
I put my hands on her shoulders. "You are gonna screw up so badly today."
"Heck yeah I am," she said softly
I looked at the time. "Hey it's 10:15 we should go."
She nodded. "What happens if, I decide that I want to re-due the date but legit?"
"Parker, you can always call me off not dating duty. If you decide that you would rather date then go ahead." I explained
She nodded

We arrived at Perkins at 10:27
We both nodded before I walked in. 2 minutes later Parker went in.

Parkers POV

I ran in.
"Adrain. Sorry." I said sitting down "I'm surprised you waited."
He laughed a bit. "Sami told me to be patient with you."
"You talked to Sami?" I asked
This reminds me of Sami and I's first date...
He nodded "No offense but you look... Horrid."
"Yeah I forgot to set an alarm,"
"Hey when you talk to me make eye contact with me!" An old lady said.
Wait. That's Tyler. Oh my god. Okay anyways. Eye contact. Don't do any of that.
"And stop having so much fun with your job!"
He's right.
"So I'm gonna get waffles with garlic bread and you are gonna have an omelet." I told him
"But I- okay then." Adrian said
"And you are paying."
"I was planning on doing- okay whatever."
It was pretty silent. We ordered and we haven't talked before then.
"Hand me the butter." I demanded
He nodded and handed me it.
"This place has wifi!" Tyler yelled in a girly voice
I went in my phone. Didn't even eat. Adrian didn't eat either. I felt a little bad because I know how much he hates omelets.
Adrian asked the waiter for the bill.
"I'll give you a ride home." He offered
"No I'll walk." I said looking out the window
"Then I'll walk with you." He said getting up.
"Okay..." I looked over at Tyler.
He shrugged not knowing what to do.

We went outside and walked for a bit. I stayed on my phone.
"Parker, do you take me for an idiot or what?" Adrian asked
"I don't," I said for the first time looking at him
"I know you put like 1% into this date. Mate, if you didn't want to go out with me then just say so." He explained
"It's not that I didn't want to. It's just that every time I have a relationship it blows up in my face." I explained
"Okay I understand." He said
What? Did he not just try to get me?
"I want to do badly cause you're not like other guys. But I know more than anything something will go wrong." I explained
"Then don't. Be happy and live your life."
"And plus I'll feel bad because you besties with Sami." I said
"Sami will want the best for you. I know you're mad at him at the moment and all but he still wants you to do what you want. Sami even threatened me if I didn't give you have the longest leash that he'll helluva kick me." Adrian laughed
"That's hurts a little," I informed him.
"You're laugh is beautiful sir," Tyler said to a random guy.
I ignored it.
"Are you free tomorrow. Even for 10 minutes?" I asked
"Tomorrow I have such a busy schedule," Tyler shouted
"I can make room for an hour or two." Adrian said
"I'll be asleep from 10is to noonish so does 1-3 sound good."
"Yeah. Come over to my place then." He said
"You're dog has very nice paws." Tyler pointed out to no one.
I didn't even realize that was holding Adrian's hand!
I looked back at Tyler and called him off.
He smiled and waved goodbye. Probably going back to get the car.

Adrian and I made a 15 minute walk into a 30 minute walk. Just talking and all. Nothing too special.
Adrian left once we got to my house. I unlocked my door and Tyler was watching tv on my couch.
"How did you get in here?" I asked
"I grabbed the spare key," Tyler said "It's mine now"
"Okay." I shrugged
"You called me off you little traitor!" He complained pausing the tv.
"Adrian is different. I believe nothing bad is gonna happen." I explained
"I was your wingman! I felt special for once in your love life!"
"You are!" I accidentally said
"I am?" Tyler asked in shock
"Yeah." I said "Who else listens to my problems?"
I set down my bag and sat down next to him.
"Well we have an hour before we go out. What do ya want to do?" He asked
"I say we watch Shadow Hunters episode 12 season 1 aka my favorite episode. You've seen it right?" I asked
"No," he answered. "I've never even heard of it."
I gasped deeply. "Oh we are having a marathon. Clear the next 13 hours after we find a house. Oh you are gonna love Mal-" I stopped myself "Not gonna ruin it for you."
"I'm not interested." Tyler said
"I'm gonna tell you what I told my first boyfriend when I was 12. You don't like the tv shows I watch, you can get out of my life. He didn't like WWE and said it was fake so I hit him with a steel chair and asked him if it was fake. Then he dumped me so I dumped him into a dumpster." I explained
Tyler bursted out laughing.
"So if you don't like Shadowhunters, You're getting kicked out of the house." I informed him
"Less time with you, how pleasant," he said. "We should get going. Earlier the start the better,"
I nodded
