Lost and Found

­Emily's POV

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN HE HASN'T COME HOME YET?!?!" I yelled at Harry through the phone. Liam never stays out this long. Ever. If he does he always calls someone.
        "Yeah, we tried calling him and everything but his phone is off." At this point I was up and getting dressed. Niall had woken up slightly and seems very confused.
        "What if he is dead? I'm going to her house right now. I don't care if it is in the middle of the night. I need to know if he is ok." I could feel tears threatening to spill down my face.
       "Em don­" I heard him start to say but I ended the call and ran out the house to my car.
      Checking the address Liam gave me a few days ago, I sped off trying not to go over the speed limit. All I could think about was how if she did anything to him that I make sure she regrets it.
         When I reached her house, I got out of the car, ran to her door, and started to bang on it.
        Finally a light turned on and the door opened to reveal Iris.
        "Where is he?" I asked forcefully.
        "Where is who?"
        "Don't act dumb, where is Liam? His phone is off and the last time any of us heard from him was when he came over here to get you." Her eyes went wide.
        "He never came to pick me up, I mean he did, I found flowers thrown on the ground in front of the door. Emily I think he saw when my best friend came over and told me he loved me and then kissed me. I swear I didn't mean to hurt him." My eyes grew dark and I ran back to my car. Liam must have gone to a bar. I decided to look at the closest one.
        I hurried into the bar, crazy that it is still open. I went over to the bartender.
        "Have you seen a guy known as Liam Payne around here?" He thought for a moment.
         "I believe I have, he came in here about 8ish and he looked pretty upset. He had about seven shots of some of the strongest stuff in this whole place and then wandered out." I thanked
him and walked out of the bar. He could be anywhere. I checked my phone hoping to see that Liam had called. But no, nothing.
I sat in my car, tears just flowing out of my eyes, and thought about where liam would go.
        I have only known him for like a year, but he is my big brother, I have to find him. I thought really hard. After about 10 minutes just sitting there trying to figure out a place where he could have gone, I was about to give up, but then I got it.
          I remembered when we were having a conversation about when Danielle dumped him, that he had said that every time he gets his heart broken he would go to this park on the other side of town where a lake was.
        I wiped my eyes and and started the car driving away. It took me about another 15­20 minutes just to get to the park, by now it was one in the morning, and no one was around. I walked quickly but quietly. As I walked closer to the lake, I could hear sniffling. I walked closer and could make out Liam's body figure. I smiled a smile of relief and walked closer to him.
I looked around when I was next to him. He hadn't seem to notice me yet.
        "I can see how you like this place so much. It's so peaceful out here." I told him quietly.
       He turned his head to me and my heart broke. His hair was a mess, his eyes bloodshot red, and tear streaks leaving marks on his pale face. I hugged him and cried with him.
          "I'm sorry." I said into his neck. After we hugged, I got him to get up and walk with me to my car. We sat in silence all the way to my house.
           "Where are we going?" He asked.
          "My house, you can sleep in the guest bedroom." I say to him. He nods and looks back out the window. The rest of the way it was silent and I was trying really hard not to fall asleep. I really happy that I found Liam though, who knows what could have happened if I didn't.
         When we finally got to my new house, I led Liam in and led him to the guest bedroom.
        "Good night Liam." I said about to walk away, but I was about to leave, Liam hugged me.
         "You're the best little sister I could have ever asked for, thank you." I just smiled and hugged him back. After we had our little hug, I walked back up to my room to find Niall still sound asleep. I shook my head and got back in bed. As soon as Niall wrapped his arms around me, pulling me closer to him, I fell asleep.

I know it's been so long!! I'm really sorry for not updating!! Hopefully I will be able to update at least once a week for now on. Fingers crossed😂
