RAPUNZEL-Part 3(Final Part)
On the day Blondie had agreed to let us out, he and his sidekick came into my windowless cell ,but without any refill straw like they usually do. They back me into a corner. "We know your secret, Rapunzel," blondie whispers so close to my face I can smell his breath. It is not at all pleasant. "Take a look at the TV, princess. Now it's your brother AND father at gunpoint. We're gonna steal August's little machine and get even more rich. Then we're gonna kill all three of you just like we did your mother."
I gasp. AGAIN! This story is getting repetitive.
"But, we can let you go," Blondie continues, "You just have to guess my brother here's name."
Blondie's sidekick? The guy never spoke; how could I know his name? Red hair. Short. Wait! It finally clicked.
"We'll give you five—"
"It's Rumpelstilskin," I said.
The two froze and I smiled. I'd guessed correctly. In their shocked state I snatched up Blondie's keys. As I went for the transformer, Blondie came back to himself.
"Wait."
"Give me the transformer."
"Wait!" He took a step back. "Tell me how you knew."
I sighed. "You'd never say his name, and in that fairytale, his name gave the princess everything he promised. Now it's your turn: Give me the transformer." He handed it over. "Now how do you work this—" and the transformer went off, blasting Blondie and his brother. Whoops. But there's no time.
I sweep out of the cell and into my dad and August's cell. I hold the transformer to the guard's head and order him the shoot their chains off. I give him some of the gold for his silence.
We escape. And we live
Happily
Ever
After✨
