In Too Deep

Chapter 5

It took me a few seconds to process what Dominick had said. He loves me? I just stood there dumbstruck, with my mouth wide open. “Meg…” I quietly corrected. Then I said, "When did you start to have a 'crush' on me?" i asked him.

"Umm… around the time when I had hurt you. I felt bad and regretted doing it after i had walked off.  But i made sure not to show it once i had got back to Giovanni. He told us never to feel bad for anyone or anything. At all." He told me. “Then I started to think about you. A lot. Your straight brown hair with those beautiful gold highlights, your striking green eyes…” He smiled as he trailed off.

"Wow... Okay... Uhhhh..." I didnt know what to say. Now was he going to ask me if i like him back? I..... Uh… "So... Are you on my side now?" I asked.

"Only if you want me to be." He said. Oh God. I don’t really need this mushy gushy crap. But, i guess i do like him back. I mean, he loves me and he's showing it. Now at least.

 "Okay. Welcome to 'Team Meg.' I can trust you- Right?"

"Yeah," He said.

"Okay. Now what i've been doing is leading Jack and them to think that I had nothing to do with this- That much of it is true. The rest of the stuff i've been saying is a lie. What we could do is lead them to think you haven’t crossed to my side, so we would need to keep our 'fights' - Physical and emotional ones looking real as can be." He looked like he understood.

"Then what do we do after that?" Dominick questioned.

"After they find im innocent, we plan our escape, only if they dont let us go."

"Now when you say 'We'--" I cut him off.

"I mean the both of us." Dominick's face seemed to light up.

“Okay.” He smiled.

 “I just have one question. Did you really mean it when you called me a bitch in the forest before?” I just had to ask that.

“Oh.. you heard that?”

I nodded.

“well… It was just my first impression… but I didn’t really know you so it was wrong to judge you and I’m sorry”  DAAAYUM. Was this boy good with words or what? He must really like me.

Suddenly, there was a knock on the door.

"Yes?" the both of us said together. We just stared at each other for a minute, the laughed.  

"Are you guys done talking? I've been waiting here for like ever!!" Jack moaned.

He looked at me before answering. I nodded, meaning 'We're done here'

"Yes. You can come back now." Dominick told him. The door swung open.  Jack walked in like he owned the place, but he wasn’t alone as i expected.

"Okay." The guy said. "It's question time again!"
