"Shut up, you're such an idiot." I laughed as Luke pulled me into his side kissed my cheek lightly and the bit of cold from his lip ring sent shivers down my spine.

"No I mean it! You are a much better dancer than anyone I have seen." He was laughing just as hard as I had been. I jabbed at his shoulder once again pushing him nearly into the fountain as we walked through the large mall. Somehow, he convinced me to play one of those ridiculous dancing games in the arcade. And some how, I won.

"Well. You did stumble over your feet a few times.. And you could've severely injured anyone that came near you.. But that's okay." He reached next to me for my hand and I dropped my left hand into his right as we happily walked with one another.

"Screw you." I teased. "You know what this means?"

"What does this mean?" He looked at me with a glowing smile as I nodded towards the foodcourt.

"You're buying me food." I let go of his hand and practically skipped away from him as he jogged behind to catch up. The mixed scent of McDonald's and Pizza Hut filled my nose and I could've caused an earthquake with the constant grumbling of my empty stomach. I stood in the midst of the large crowd and continued to debate what I should eat.

"What do you want, babe?" Luke came out of nowhere and scared me half to death as I zoned out.

"Uh. I was thinking Pizza Hut. What do you want?"

"Sounds good to me." He draped his arm over my shoulder and walked with me to the counter. The young girl with blue hair that seemed as though it was a falling out, and a slightly large nose practically drooled over Luke as she took our order.

"What can I get you guys?" Luke began to speak but I lightly put my hand on his arm signaling that I could handle it.

"We'll have have two small plain pies both with Sprite."

"Anything el-"

"No." I cut her off in a slightly clipped tone. I sounded bitchy and I didn't mean to. I just could not stand the idea of anyone else looking at someone that meant so much to me. I had already lost one person. I didn't want to lose another. The young girl took the money out of Luke's hand and gave him his change. When we walked to the other side of the counter, we stood there patiently and waited for our food. Meanwhile, I tapped my foot impatiently and began to play with the ends of my hair.

"You okay, Ali?" Luke questioned as he reached for my hand.

"Yeah! I'm fine, I was just spacing out." Another worker tapped on the small bell signaling us to get our food. I grabbed the tray and headed over to a vacant table in the middle of the food court. I ripped through my pizza and ignored the scalding hot cheese that burnt my tongue and continued to burn as it slid down my throat. I glanced up at Luke only to find him intently staring at me.

"Oh my god.  Do I have food all over my face?" I began to wipe my napkin all over my face in hopes of cleaning myself off.

"No. You're fine. I just.. I just can't believe how much I like you." My cheeks flushed as a stupid grin crossed my face.

"Aw. You're alright, I guess." He shook his head as he laughed and then stood up over the table and kissed me unexpectedly. He was perfect and I loved everything about him. I loved the way he couldn't stop laughing when he started, the way his eyes lit up when he was happy, the way he was always singing to himself and the way he treated me. The right way.

Just then my phone went off.

One new message: Louis

Hey, Al. So there's a promotional thing for the album this weekend in New York.. Haven't seen you in ages! Interested?

Without even thinking twice my fingers tapped away at my phone in excitement.

I'll be there!

But one thing didn't occur to me.. Harry.

                                                                           *Harry*

I smiled to myself as I hit send and waited for a response. Within seconds I got one.

I'll be there! Perfect.

"Harry do you have my phone?" Louis called from the kitchen. I sat up straight and ran my fingers through my hair casually.

"Yeah, I was just checking twitter. My phone is shit." I lied. He nodded awkwardly and grabbed his keys off the counter before calling out behind him.

"Eleanor and I are heading out for the night. Be back later." She grabbed his hand and they headed out the door as I waved goodbye.

This wasn't the end for Ali and me. I was going to make things right and I wasn't going to mess up. I couldn't afford to lose her yet again.
