"He's not going to be there is he?" My mother snapped as she helped me pack my bag for the weekend. Which she insisted on.
"No. I already talked to the guys. Harry has been MIA so don't worry about it." She nodded in approval silently.
"Okay well. It looks like everything is packed.. Here." She walked out of the room and returned with at least two hundred dollars in hand.
"While you're there, do a little shopping. But for me too." She smiled and wrapped me into a hug. Why the hell she was being so nice was beyond me. I wasn't even sure why she went along with the idea of me heading to New York City for the weekend.. Maybe it was because Luke was coming. She actually liked him and enjoyed his company.
"I know you're leaving pretty early.. So I'll just give it to you now." She stuffed the money in my bag and kissed me goodnight before disappearing into the hallway.

I sat in the kitchen and ate my somewhat stale cereal as I watched the sun rise behind the full trees outside. As I got up to put my bowl in the sink a car horn beeped out side causing me to jump and drop it into the metal basin with a clank.
"Shit." I hissed as I left it and headed into the living room to grab my suitcase and purse. I closed the front door gently and locked it before I headed down the front steps towards Luke's car. He stood leaned against the passenger door with a sweet smile on his face.
"Good morning, sunshine." He said sweetly as he pulled me towards him and kissed my forehead.
"Here, let me take those." He reached for my bags and opened up him sqeaking trunk door before throwing my stuff in and slamming it again. I opened my door and got into the car that smelled like fast food and cologne. Luke slid into the driver's seat and put the car into drive before starting down the empty street.
"Are you excited, babe?" He looked at me for a second before looking at the road again. He still wore the sweet smile he always did.
"Of course. I miss them so much." My heart leaped at the thought of seeing the boys again.
"It was pretty awesome of them to get us a fucking private jet. I've never even been on a plane before." He sounded thrilled. It made me so happy to know that he was just as excited. But it was only because he knew that Harry wouldn't be there. I was pretty sure Harry was still in London. That's where he belonged. Away from me.
"Yeah. Can you imagine driving? That would've taken forever." I half laughed. I was trying so hard to hold conversation but my conscience found it's way into my every thought. Harry is going to be there. You want to see him. But I didn't did I? Of course not. I loved Luke. I least I thought I did. We've only been dating for a little bit but he just meant so much to me. But so did Harry.
"Ali, did you hear me?" What? I snapped out of my trance and looked over at Luke he was focused of the road but waiting for my answer.
"No.. Sorry, what?"
"Do I turn left at the next light?"
"Oh.. Yeah." I nodded and awkwardly looked towards the window again. I couldn't keep think about him. He wasn't good for me.. But at the same time he was.

After about two hours of sitting on a plane and getting in a taxi with a driver that nearly got us lost in the city, we ended up at our hotel which the boys also paid for. I gasped in excitement as I took in the lights coming from every which way and the massive broadway signs that shined. I've never been anywhere so incredible.
"You ready?" Luke reached for my hand as the bell boy took our luggage.
"Yup." I smiled and gripped onto his comforting hand as we headed into the breath taking hotel. The wealthy old people glared at Luke and I as we walked through the lobby and towards the elevator.
