The next morning Kyoya was confused. It was already 15 minutes into class and Hoshi hasn't showed up yet. The teacher was just about to send the attendance in when Hoshi ran through the door, face red and her chest rising and falling fast.

"You're late Ms. Anami." The teacher said, marking her down as present on the sheet.

"I apologize Miss. I had a very late morning with my siblings." Hoshi bowed and quickly took her seat, working hard to catch her breath.

"Hi Kyoya." She waved and smiled tiredly as she sat down and turned to the front.

"Morning Hoshi." He said, focusing down at his notebook again. He would have to ask her about it later.

After class ended, Hoshi packed up and walked out of class. Kyoya packed up and with long strides of his legs, caught up with the girl.

"May I escort you to your next class?" He asked politely. Hoshi nodded.

"Yeah sure. Sorry I was late this morning. My alarm didn't go off to my brother had to wake me up and-"

"Hoshi!" A voice called out from behind her. The duo turned to see a boy, probably a 3rd year rush towards them. He held something in his hand.

"You forgot your music books at home. You're lucky I saw and brought them with me." He said, handing the books to Hoshi. Hoshi sighed and hugged him.

"Thank you so much Hayato." She huffed.

"No problem. I'll see you after school right?" He said. Hoshi nodded.

"Yeah." She said. They bid farewell and Hoshi turned back to walk.

"Who was that?" Kyoya asked. Hoshi smiled.

"That's my older brother Hayato. He's a 3rd year here. He's a super nice guy." She explained. Soon a bell alerted them to hurry up, they had 3 minutes to get to class. She quickly picked up the pace and arrived in front of her history class.

"I'll see you Kyoya." She said briskly, before walking into the classroom. Kyoya sighed.

"I'll have to ask her more about it later."

_At the Host Club_

"Tamaki please, stop." Tsubasa sighed as Tamaki went to grow mushrooms in his emo corner. Hoshi giggled.

"Does he do that often?" She asked Kyoya, setting her pen down and staring at the blonde boy.

"More then he should." Kyoya sighed.

"You should get back to your homework Hoshi-San." He reprimanded. Hoshi sighed.

"You're no fun Kyo-Chan. I've been doing homework for an hour and I'm almost done. I can take a little break." She said, moving her chair closer to Kyoya's.

"Whatcha doing?" She asked.

"Trying to figure out how to get enough money to fund the next activity Tamaki wants the host club to do." Kyoya said. Hoshi's eyes sparkled.

"What does Tamaki want to do?" She asked.

"He wants to go to one of my families resorts with the ladies next weekend. It's going to be pretty expensive." Kyoya explained.

"I can lend you some money if you want." Hoshi offered. Kyoya looked up and gave her a small smile.

"Thank you for the offer Hoshi, but I think we can manage." Hoshi pouted.

"Why can't I help Kyo-Chan? I want to!" She urged. Kyoya shook his head.

"No, and that's final." He said. Hoshi rolled her eyes.

"Okay Mr. Bossy Pants." She said, moving back to her homework and focusing on the ridiculously hard math problem in front of her.

"Hey Hoshi, I've been meaning to ask, what caused you to be so late this morning?" He asked. Hoshi smiled.

"The problem with having siblings is that it takes forever to get is situated. Today's mishap was that Rin's alarm didn't go off. The rest of us were ready to go, except for Rin. We drop Rin and Hayato off before us, and there was crazy traffic, so it took forever for Tsubasa, Hayato, and I to get here." Hoshi explained.

"Ah, I see. I've never had that problem, seeing as my sisters a lot older then I am and so are my brothers." He said. Hoshi sighed.

"You're lucky then. My gosh siblings can be rough sometimes, especially with all of us living in one house." Hoshi said, but smiled.

"You should come over sometime Kyoya. You can have a host club meeting at our house." Hoshi offered.

"Really?" He asked.

"Yeah. My family would love to meet you, and it's not like we don't have the room in our house." Hoshi said. Kyoya nodded.

"That would be great."

"Awesome, when the next host club meeting?"

"Tomorrow at 5." He said. Hoshi smiled.

"Well then, I'll see you at my house tomorrow at 5." Hoshi said. Kyoya was about to thank the girl, when she was summoned over by Tsubasa and Honey to join in their game of charades.

Kyoya couldn't help but stare. His heart was beating oddly fast and he could feel his cheeks warming slightly as he watched her set Honey in her lap as Tsubasa acted out the card.

"Hey there Kyoya. Whatcha looking at?" Tamaki asked as he took the empty seat across from Kyoya. Kyoya's head snapped back to his computer, cheeks already cooled down.

"Nothing, I'm just thinking. Anyway, we are having the host club meeting tomorrow at Hoshi's house." Kyoya said. Tamaki smiled.

"Sounds like a plan."

_Outside the Buidling_

"Bye Kyoya!" Hoshi waved as she got into the van. The windows were rolled down and Kyoya could clearly make out Hoshi laughing at something her older brother Hayato had said. The car drove off and Kyoya couldn't help but feel like something was missing. He shook his head and walked towards where his limousine was parked. He entered and distracted himself.

These feelings didn't mean anything, did they?
