"Tell methat is not a dead body." Mother said, entering the kitchen. Father kissed mother's lips. I grimaced and looked away. I sigh tiredly. I bent down and touch the girl's neck. "May you wrapped in God's love. Found deep in His overlasting wings. Carried and kept, and safe and cherished. May the healing power of God, come over your being." I concentrate on happy thoughts.

I open my eyes. The girl was healed. I smile. She opened her eyes and started screaming.

"MARGARET!" I shout. Mother winced. Margaret walked in the kitchen and looked at the girl. She walked towards her and put her hands on her shoulder. She closed her eyes. A small crease formed between her eyebrows. The girl's screaming stopped and a calm look spread on her face.

I have healing powers. Father can read other's minds. And, Margaret can change people's emotions. My mother... well... she's a wolf, so yeah.

"There. All done." Margaret said, getting up. The girl opened her eyes and breathed heavily. I could feel her heart beating fast. Fear. She got up from the floor and started panting. I sighed and walked to her. I place my hands on her shoulder. I close my eyes and concentrate hard. I change her emotion.

I open my eyes. The girl had a calm look on her face. I smile. She walked away. "Micheal, I told you not to feed from the servants." Mother scolded. Father smiled sheepishly. "Sorry, Brenda." Father apologized. Mother rolled her eyes. "Whatever."

"So, when's the ball?" Dad asked Margaret. "Tomorrow night. I shall expect all of you to be there." Margaret said, excitedly. I sit down on the counter. "Are your gowns all prepared?" Mother asked us. "Yes. My one is done." Margaret answered. Mother looked at me. "What about you, Beth?" She asked. "My one is done too. And, my name is Elizabeth." I said, simply. Mother glared at me. "I shall call you with whatever name I please." She said, harshly.

"Whatever." I snapped. Her eyes flamed with anger. "Elizabeth. Don't you dare misbehave with your mother." Father warned. "What are you gonna do? Kill me? Then, kill me. I'd rather die than live this painful, immortal life." I said and walked out of the dining room.

I walk up the marble staircase. Tears started pooling in my eyes. I walk to my room. I close the door and slide down against it. I break down. I sob quietly. I breathe heavily. I walk to my closet and pull out a baby's shirt. My baby's clothes. I clutch it tight to my chest and cry.

The door creaked open, revealing Father and mother. I don't stop crying. I held my baby's shirt to my chest. I sob. Mother and Father looked at me, helpless. I breathe heavily. I start trembling. Mother and father knelt down and hugged me tightly. Father kissed my hair. "What can we do, Elizabeth?" He asked, helpless. I just continued crying.

"He's gone. He's gone, dad. There was nothing I could do to stop it. It's all my fault!" I sob. "Shh. Let it all out, baby. It's okay." Mother cooed. "It hurts. It hurts so bad. Make it stop. Please make it stop, it hurts..." I cry in my baby's shirt. Father and mother looked at each other,

"Miss. Elizabeth, here is your gown." A maid handed me a full-sleeved gold sequin ball gown. I look at her clavicle and control my thirst. I nodded. She walked out of my room.  I close my eyes. The door burst open, revealing father. He threw me a blood bag. I smile at him and quickly drink from it. He chuckled and walked out.

I finish drinking. I throw the bag to the trash. Sighing, I walk to the dress. I strip off of my jeans and get dressed in the gold sequin gown. My makeup is already done, I don't need to do it. My hair was let down and curled. I put on my heels and walk out of my room. Our house was decorated. It was big enough for a ball. There were many people already. I greet all of them by smiling. They smile back.

Father, mother and Margaret walked together. They smile at me. I smile back. Father and mother both kissed my forehead. "You look beautiful, sweetheart." Mother said. I smile. "Gorgeous." Father said. "Thanks." I say.

We walk to the stairs. Dad walked down. We walked down. "Good evening everyone. Thank you for joining us. It has been a tradition in our family, that we commence the ball with a dance. So, please, if you would. Find a partner." Father said, politely. Father extended his hand to mother. Mother smiled and took it. Margaret found a guy. Many people started finding their partners.

I start to walk to the bar. Someone grabs my wrist. Justin. I turn around. He smirked and checked me out. "Well, don't you look hot?" He said. I roll my eyes, smiling. He was dressed in a nice tux. He extended his hand. I take it gracefully.
