A Duo ?! With Chloe ?!

JUSTIN'S P.O.V

Okay. So now it's Monday and I am currently driving to school. I stopped at a stoplight and drifted off into deep thoughts.

Today would be the day when we would find out more about the talent show. I am so excited. But I was shocked when Chloe showed me the text because both of us have a chance to take one step closer to living our dreams.

Speaking of Chloe.

She is so goddamn beautiful. We almost kissed twice and yeah, sure ,she is my best friend but I can't help it. I 'm developing feelings for her that are far more stronger than the ones that we had for each other as the previous years passed.

I really like her.

BEEP! BEEP! BEEEEP! I heard behind me . I jumped out of my thoughts and started to drive again.

I drove into school and I saw an empty space between Chloe's and Belle's cars. I parked there and walked straight to Belle's locker knowing that both Belle and Chloe would be there.

I walked up to them and I noticed Chloe but definitely not Belle. I furrowed my eyebrows and said " Belle?! Is that you?!"with a shocked expression on my face.

Belle gave me a look as if saying ' no it's Shrek shit sherlock'. At least that's what I think she's thinking. I turned to Chloe and she was already looking at me with a worried look on her face.

"Who is that?!" I asked gesturing to Belle. "That's Belle. Remember when she said that she would stop showing her weakness towards Nathan?" I nodded.

"Well I think that this is her way of doing that. Being a rebel" she said. I sighed. "Does that mean that she has to wear all black and dye her hair purple?!" I asked.

I looked at Belle like she was crazy and she sighed and said "Look Justin. If you don't approve of my look then that's your bullshit to deal with. I am starting over. I am turning over a new leaf. I am not going to be that timid bitch who crys over everything anymore. I am rebellious and dangerous now. Do you hear me?! I am not putting my guard down again for anyone. Especially that asshole who cheated on me after we dated for two fucking years. I am tired of being the goddamn one who always fixes things. Now I am going to be the one who fucking destroys things. And no one will stop me. Do you hear me?! I hope that you heard me because you can all fuck it! I'm done being the nice one. I'm a different fucking person now. So just fucking accept it!"and with that she slammed her locker door shut and angrily walked off to first session.

Both Chloe and I were shocked. Neither of us moved until we heard the bell go off. Chloe and I walked to music class in silence.

We sat down beside each other until Chloe spoke up "What the hell just happened?!"she said looking really confused.

"I don't know but we better find out what's wrong with her and try to talk some sense into her befor she does something stupid" I said worriedly. Chloe nodded.

Shortly after Miss Clarity walked into the class with a huge smile plastered on her face. Chloe smiled and I felt a little better but I was still a little worried about Belle.

I think that Chloe must've noticed that I was worried because she put her hand over mine that was on my leg and squeezed it reassuringly. I entwined our hands and squeezed hers. She blushed and I chuckled.

Then the teacher started to speak "Good morning students. I have some very good news! The principal of NYMC called and said that he will be picking only ten students from this school because all of the other spots are taken! Wait, nope, that was the bad news. Anyways the good news is that he wants to hear a duet from the two best singers that we have and if they sound good, both of them will get scholarships!"she squealed and the class cheered.

Chloe and I looked at each other in shock. And then Miss Clarity said " You will have to work together to create an original which is what you're going to sing at the show case. You will be the last act and as I said before you're going to be a duo! Drum roll please!"and people started to beat their desks.

I took a glance at Chloe and she had the biggest smile on her face. I really hope that it's me and Chloe.

A duo ?!

With Chloe ?!

Just the thought of it made me smile . And then the teacher said the two names that made me melt with happiness. That made me smile even brighter than before if that's even possible.

"Chloe and Justin! "

Chloe and Justin are doing a duet?!

Yaaaaayyy!!

But what do you think about Belle?!

Gotta read it to find out.
