I literally threw Issac off of me looking at the person that was standing at the door looking at us. Ace. Great. "What are you doing here?" I asked, walking to him. "I guess I missed a room." He said with a smirk. "Her room is down the hall and you've been here many times." I said closing the door. "Thanks?" I heard Issac say, getting up from the ground. "Sorry." I said helping him up. "Let's go back to studying." I said gathering the notes he threw. We studied for maybe 30 minutes when I fell asleep.

The next day I woke up and I was all tucked in. I got up, doing my normal morning routine. I walked downstairs and weirdly Veronica wasn't there. I walked out and saw Ace waiting by his car. I locked the door and walked to him. "Veronica is not here."I said turning to walk to school but he gently grabbed my arm, turning me to face him. "I know. I came to pick you up." He said with a smile. "Me? Why, we don't know each other." I said pulling my hand away from him. "Come on, we'll talk on our way to school." He said opening the door for me. "No, thank you." I said and started walking away from him while I was looking at the ground to avoid eye contact with anyone. I crossed the road when I bumped into someone, I looked up to see Issac looking at me. "You in a rush?" He asked smiling. "Ahh kinda." I said when we started to walk together. "Why? Someone stalking you besides me?" He asked laughing and I pushed him lightly. "Ace came to give me a ride." I said and he gasped. "You rather walk than ride that car." He said pointing to Ace's car when he drove past us. "Yes." I said. We came to school and I could see Veronica giving me a mean look. Savannah didn't come to school because she had to go her doctor. Me and Issac decided to meet at my locker for lunch. I wished him luck on his test and he wished me luck with mine. After the test I went to my locker and got some of my books for the next lesson. Then while I was waiting for Issac, Damon came to me. "Hey Melanie." He said with a smile. "Damon, what's up?" I said smiling back. "Ace wants to see you." He said and his smile disappeared. "What does he want now?" I asked with a sigh. "He wants you to help him study." He said. "Tell him I don't have time, because I'm helping someone else." I said and he became serious. "He won't be happy with that answer." He said. "I don't care, I just don't have time." I said. "Or is it that you just don't want to hang out with him?" He said with a smirk. "Yeah, that too." I said with a small laugh. "I'll give him your answer." He said and walked to the cafeteria. "Sorry I'm late." Issac said apologizing. We went to the park and ate our lunch. "What was Damon talking to you about?" He asked. "Just something Ace wanted to tell me." I replied. "But how did your test go?" I added. "Well, I hope is at least D." He said laughing. "It's gonna be more than that, I helped you." I said. "That's exactly why is going to be a D." He said laughing we finished our lunch and went to school. "Wanna go to the mall?" He asked. "Why?" I asked confused. "Professor keeps nagging me about me not having a book, so I have to buy it." He said stopping at my classroom. "Fine, I'll wait outside for you." I said walking into the class. When the school was over, I walked outside as we agreed and waited. "I have another massage for you." I heard Damon say from behind me. "Ughh what now?" I asked annoyed. "He's said he'll come over tonight so you can all study." He said rubbing the back of his neck. "Are you serious?" I asked. "Yeah, I tried to convince him to not do that, but you know how he is." He said. "What to do?" I asked myself out loud. "Want me to come too?" He asked with a small laugh. "No it's okay, you probably have something better to do." I said smiling. "If you say so." He said and walked away. "Let's go." Issac screamed and put his arm around me. "I have some bad news." I said as we started walking to the mall. "What is it?" He asked. "Ace is maybe, kinda, sort of coming over to study." I said and he moved his hand away. "Why? Aren't we planning to study?" He asked. "Yeah. But I didn't have a word in this. I'll just help you both." I said. "Sure, sweetie. But don't focus on him more than me." He said putting his arm around me again. When we got to the mall we went straight to the bookstore and got his math book, then we started walking back home when we passed the jewelry store and I stopped. I saw this beautiful heart necklace and looked at it. "You like it?" I heard Issac ask. "Yeah, it's beautiful." I said smiling. "Why don't you buy it?" He asked. "Did you look at the price? It's too expensive." I said and started to walk. "Let's go before Ace comes." I said pulling him with me. We finally arrived to my house and Veronica wasn't home yet. "Want something to eat?" I asked walking to the kitchen with Issac following me. "Yeah." He said poking my cheek. We walked into the kitchen to see Ace already there. This is going to be an interesting day.
