A storm was heading his way. The beast felt hunger and weakness spreading throughout his large body. He saw another ship coming, and got ready to attack.
Making sure he was not seen, he swam swiftly under the ship and waited until it flooded with seawater, so it would be easier to ambush. He heard the crew shouting, and knew it was time to strike.
Heaving his enormous body onto the already sinking ship, he tipped it towards himself and gobbled his helpless enemies.
He bolted away as the ship fell, every member gone.
