Reader's P.O.V.
As I listened to my music, I found myself glancing around the class and observing my new classmates. As they talked, all I could hear is their muffled voices as they all acted weird in the class. Then a girl with medium black hair came in the room. She immediately went over to Yuji and he didn't seem happy that she was here.
Yuji: Shouko what are you doing here?
Shouko: I finished my work early so that I can come to see my future husband.
Gah, I said in my head as I listened to her talk. She's one of THOSE type of girls. What is it with the girls in this class, all being so forceful towards the guys they like. Like how the flat chested girl and the big breasted girl are fighting over the chestnut haired guy. I don't fight over guys, it's just stupid, he'd have to pick someone or I'd be done crushing on him. The guy with the camera would be tolerable if he wasn't such a perv and he wasn't even a perv in a good way. He was always staring at me in a frustrated sort of way as if he was trying hard to get something from me. Every so often I'd hear the snap of his camera. The only person that seems normal around here is that guy that I gave a candy bar to.
I glanced over at him and he didn't seem to notice me because he looked like he was thinking about his friends like I was doing. I didn't get a chance to observe him any longer before the school bell rang. Everyone seemed excited and took our their lunches. I understood that it was lunchtime as I slowly stood up and grabbed my backpack. I headed out of the class, completely oblivious to anyone trying to get my attention.
Mizuki: Hey, would you like to have lunch with us?
But I wasn't aware of Mizuki as I passed her and went out the door.
Shouko: Is that your new classmate? She seems a little....odd.
Akihisa: Yeah, I don't think we're going to know anything about her any time soon.
Minami: Well she is new. I was just like her when I first came here.
Akihisa: Except, I thought you were a boy back then with your flat chest and all.
Minami: AKIHISA YOU IDIOT, WHAT'S THAT SUPPOSE TO MEAN?!!
Minami yelled as she put Akihisa in a head lock.
Mizuki: Don't hurt him Minami!!
The pink haired girl yelled. I rolled my eyes and shook my head at them as I went into the hallway. AS I traversed the hallway, I was getting glances from various students.
Kobo: She must be the new girl of class F. She doesn't seem like she'll be a challenge at all.
Miharu: Who cares who she is. She had better not be getting between me and my Minami.
Kobo: Still, we have to find out what abilities she holds within her shoukanju. We can't afford to underestimate anyone.
I used my lunch time to eat in peace without interference from the crazy people around here. I didn't know were anything was in the school yet but I lucked out when I found the stairs leading to the schools rooftop. This place was perfect, I thought to myself as I went up the stairs. To my surprise, I was relieved that they didn't like the door to the roof. I looked around and then peered down the edge of the roof. Everyone looked like little bugs from up here.
When I got comfortable with the spot I picked, I sat down, took out my bento box and began prepared to eat. The volume to my music was low and I stopped shortly of popping food into my mouth when I heard someone else on the roof with me. I turned around and saw it was that guy from class. The on that looked like a girl. If I remember right, his name was Hideyoshi.
Hideyoshi: Hey.
He said as he closed the door behind him. I saw that he also had his lunch with him. I watched him walk over to me and sit down casually as he picked up his chopsticks and began eating. It was at this moment that I realized that I didn't know what to say to him. I was at a complete loss for words. Jeez, I'm more antisocial than I thought. Talking to others is a lot harder than you think. Eventually I sighed and just pushed myself to say something. I took off my headphones and casually said hi back to him.
Hideyoshi: Finally coming back to reality I see?
(Y/N): Meh.....
Hideyoshi: You know, you never properly introduced yourself. This may not be the classroom and it may just only be me but I'd like to know who you are if that's alright.
(Y/N): I'm (Y/N) (L/N).
Hideyoshi: I know I told you my name already but I'm Hideyoshi Kinoshita. Thanks for the candy bar by the way.
(Y/n): Your welcome....
I say as I open a bottle of water.
Hideyoshi: So. What brings you to this school?
(Y/N): Nothing special. My parents just thought it would be better.
Hideyoshi: Pardon me for saying this but you don't look like you'd be in class-F.
(Y/N): And your a guy but you look very much like a girl.
At that moment Hideyoshi stopped eating all of a sudden and put his hands on my shoulders and shook me slightly.
Hideyoshi: What did you say?
(Y/n): Um....I said your a guy but you look like a girl.
Hideyoshi: You know that I'm a guy?
(Y/n): Uhhh....yes? Why wouldn't I?
Hideyoshi: Everyone thinks I'm a girl but I'm so happy you can see the truth. This is great.
Before long, Hideyoshi realized that he was be slightly out of character and composed himself.
Hideyoshi: I'm sorry for my sudden out burst.
Was he blushing? I thought.
(Y/N): Oh, it's fine.
Hideyoshi: I also apologize for not asking if it was ok if I join you for lunch.
(Y/N): Sure....I don't mind....
Hideyoshi: I also hope you don't mind if I get to know a little bit more about you.
