"Toni, can you please send an audition tape for the reality show? The entry date closes soon"

Ugh, my mother is still nagging me about that. I sigh because I know I have until tomorrow to send the audition tape in. "Yeah, I'll do it now. Don't interrupt me".

I shuffle upstairs from the kitchen where my mother was making lunch for her 'book club'. Swinging the door open to my room, I pull my laptop out from under my bed and start filming. I figure I'll just wing the video, tell them a little bit about me and why I want to audition. To be honest, I kind of want to audition and I don't really mind that my parents are making me do it. If I win, which I know I probably can, I'll move out of my parents house and go live in my own house, wait, mansion.

I fix my hair and press the button to record on my laptop. "Hey, I'm Toni and I'm hoping to make it onto this stupid reality show. I guess I'm rebellious and I've been to juvie more times than I can count. My parents are kind of forcing me to do this to get me to stay out of juvie for a while but I don't mind 'cause I'd really like the money. Anyway I guess that's it! Umm, Bye!"

I finish recording and submit the video to the website. I think it went well, although I doubt I'll get in because tonnes of other people probably submitted a video. A girl can hope right?

Four weeks later

I walk into my empty house (my parents were at work) carrying a eight cans of monster for the week. Fun fact about me: if you take a can of my monster, I'll probably break your finger. After putting the cans in the fridge I notice a letter on the kitchen bench with my name on it.

I snatch the letter and go to my room after realising it was the letter from Chris Mclean. I collapse on my bed and pull out my pocketknife I always keep on me and open the letter. I super read the letter and finish the last sentence,

'Hope to see you at camp Wawanakwa!'

Yes, I got in! Eight weeks at a five star resort, plus the chance to win $100,000! I leave in less than a week so I start packing out of boredom. I throw a bunch of clothes into my suitcase as well as my laptop, MP3 player (just in case my phone fails), earplugs, cans of spray paint, some sharpies and a bunch of food and drinks, including my monster.

Eight weeks at a five star resort. Here we go.
