8: My Writer Just Hates The Clock

The next morning Tyler woke up tangled in Josh's arms, he slowly untangles himself trying not to wake Josh, but he was already awake.

"How are you? Are you okay?" Josh asked, concern laced his voice. Tyler hated those questions because he didn't know the answer to them.

"I'm okay." Tyler responded trying to convince himself more than Josh. "You should go home, so your parents don't worry to much." Tyler adds, he just wanted Josh to leave him alone.

"It's okay Ty...they won't care where I am." Josh said after drawing in a long breath thinking about his dad.

"Please leave Josh." Tyler told Josh sternly. Josh nodded looking hurt as he went out the window leaving Tyler curled up on his bed.

Tyler slowly stood, wincing at the pain in his head as he sauntered to the bathroom to shower. He clicked on his phone to turn on his music.
"Friday, August 6 8:00" it read, he would still be able to make it to work on time.

Today was Friday which automatically made him feel a little bit better because Jenna came to the store every Friday. "Maybe I'll get her number" he thought. But Blurryface had something to say about that.

After slipping on his long sleeve work tee shirt and black skinny jeans with his gray vans, Tyler drove to the store with his phone blasting music to distract his mind.

"Your 10 minutes late" his boss reprimanded the young boy.
"I'm sorry, I woke up late" Tyler mumbled.

Tyler kept himself busy until he heard the bell jiggle above the door, his head shot up meeting the icy blue eyes that belonged to Jenna.
She did her normal walk through of the store before grabbing a All Time Low vinyl.

Closing my notebook, I rang her up and before she left she gave me a piece of paper and said "Text me". Then she left, Tyler was still in awe that he got her phone number.

Why does she want your number,freak?

"I don't know" Tyler quietly mumbled returning to his notebook.
