-Reyna-

So far I'd been at the house of night for a month. Courtney had only been here a couple of days so far. I had talked to my friends for my outlandish behavior which I didn't even remember. Maybe some strange dark force had made me do it but I didn't know what. Couldn't have been Neferet, I remember all our meetings well. Today I stayed after class in Lenobia's stables to groom a horse named Demeter. She was a elegant sleek horse black as night. It was always relaxing being around her and having a distraction. When I heard footsteps come in I said, "Lenobia, I'm just relaxing." I said automatically without looking.
"Do I look like Lenobia, Rey?"
A familiar voice said with a hint of laughter. I turned around only to see my blonde roommate Aphrodite.
"Aphrodite. I didn't expect you here." I said with a smile and put up the grooming brush.

"You are coming with me Rey. Time to leave campus and drink. I found a vampyre bar where they serve wine and stuff with enough alcohol that even a fledgling or vampyre can get drunk." She grinned.

Chuckling I nodded and followed her. I needed a break from my stress about Neferet. By the Angel I hated her guts. I hoped Neferet died a very painful death.
"What if a human drank there?" I asked curiously.

Aphrodite laughed and said, "they'd die from over intoxication. We fledglings and vamps will be fine though. Just don't drink too much or you'll be running through Tulsa naked and singing a country song. Not that it's ever happened to me of course." She said with a natural laugh. I loved her natural laughs more then her fake ones she used to have. Aphrodite still acted bitchy but she was growing on me just like the books did.

"I could totally picture you doing that. But probably screaming Stevie Rae's name and saying you love her." I joked. That earned a strange glare from her. So I did the smart thing and kept my mouth shut till we got to Aphrodite's car.

On the road Aphrodite began speaking to me. "There's a other reason I fear my parents. If they knew they'd surely disown me. The truth is, I'm no slut. I've been with so many guys because I wanted to do what my parents would approve of, to try to be normal. But I've had it. I'm not normal. Normal is boring. The truth is I'm a Lesbian." Aphrodite admitted looking away from me in embarrassment. I held her hand gently with a smile on my face.

"Don't be embarrassed. I know how it feels, I'm bisexual. Be proud of who you are. Your parents can fuck themselves. You are Aphrodite and your fabulous unlike them. You should be proud." I said to Aphrodite. Aphrodite then slammed on the breaks and looked into my eyes.
"And that is why I fucking love you Rey." She said then leaned over and slammed her lips onto mine in a hot fiery kiss fueled by her passion. Pulling my arms around her I allowed myself to kiss her back deeply. Yes, I felt the same for her. Aphrodite was the one for me, she had to be. My soft hands reached up to feel her hair. Aphrodite had soft and smooth hair and felt freshly cleaned. Thats when Aphrodite pulled herself away and held her head looking dizzy. Concerned Iaid her over my lap with my hand holding the back of her head up.
"Vision!" Aphrodite cried out.

-Aphrodite-

The vision hit me hard as it went through me. I couldn't see or hear Reyna. I saw Neferet wearing a cloak of moving darkness. She had just stabbed Alex in the chest with her knife and beside Neferet was a shorter woman wearing a dark cloak. An evil smirk could be seen but I couldn't figure out who she was, all I knew was that I knew that person from somewhere. Alex spoke, "Neferet, I love you!" before collapsing to the ground dead.
Neferet turned to her ally besides her and said, "Now nobody can stop us, Alura. Together we will bring the humans to their knees. We will both be loved.

"Yes, Neferet." Alura said as she wrapped her arms around Neferet giving her a deep kiss of passion. I was in utter shock, what is wrong with Neferet? How could she go batshit crazy like that? The pain of betrayal of someone I once trusted got to me. I awoke from the nightmare of a vision full of tears streaking down my cheeks.
