When we started to walk against the mossy ground, I heard a sound come from the corner. More trees started to sway with every step. I turned to look and seen a wolf. It disappeared within a blink of an eye. I didn't think I saw who I think I saw, but I kept walking. Lance kept walking and leading me through zig zags.

"So how does our contract work again?" I asked.

"I thought it was quite obvious." He said waving in the air and turning his head to give me a grin.

"Are there any rules in particular that I should know? I mean is there like a secret password?" I asked acting really curious, I mean I had a demon for god sakes.

"Well you order me to do stuff, and I do it for you, except for our sexual and intimate parts. Those I can just do myself."

"How?" I asked. When did that happen.

"Man your memory sucks, but I guess that is what happens when you give up some of your power, you also give up some of your memory. I know, because I have it. Anyways, you ordered me to not have to ask you to do any of those things, like go in the shower with you, or kiss you, or..." He grinned at me and licked his teeth. I felt a blush rise to my face. He wasnt serious?

"Stop that, everyone doesn't need to know."  I said raising my hands in the air. I looked and heard some rustling, but I paid it no attention.

"Who is there to tell? It's just you and me. I can tell you are embarassed, because your face is red. You look cute like that. Very adorable if you ask me." I huffed and walked even faster to catch up to him.

"Why did you make the deal with me?" I asked.

"I usually don't make deals, but the point of our deal is for me to protect you, I am your protector and you are my master. I love you so much, and the thing is, that we aren't suppose to love each other, but I am suppose to do anything you say." He grinned at me with that cocky smile. "I would have never wanted to loose you, and you are on the brink of death, so I gave you a few sparks of power to have the right to control me. I couldn't bare to loose you. I made the deal, and in the end the only way our deal is completed, is if I mate with you myself. You will live forever with me, until that is done." I stopped walking now. I had to have children with Lance? I never thought about that, but this day was just getting weird now.

"I...I am really shocked." I said backing up.

"Please sweet heart, I won't do it if you don't want to have children. You already have my mark, and that is all I could really ask for. That you be here by my side. I never wanted to pressure you."

"What about, living forever? If I would have known that!" I said but broke off in mid-sentence. Oh no. I could see his face right now. He was looking at me and his fists were balled at his side. I saw him looking down now.

"Let's go, we have to get to Alice." He said walking away. He was walking fast now and it was getting hard to keep up with him. I wanted to take back my words, but something inside of me didn't want to. I mean I loved Lance forever, but I just hated living forever. I didn't want to watch others around me die.

We walked in silence for hours, when we soon came close to a tree. The tree was wilted and its branches were spread like open arms. I looked at the tall tree and saw a stone sitting at the trunk. I looked at the large stone and saw Lance looking at me from the corner of his eye. I loved Lance. I loved everything about him. I remember the time he helped me in the resturaunt with Blade. I remember us reading together.

"We have to wait. We have to fall in just like she did. We read a page from a book, and fall asleep and fall down the hole." He said walking towards the stone. I looked at him and saw the sun setting. I then saw him pick up the book. He was reading Romeo and Juliet again. He was reading the part where Mercutio and Romeo were dueling. I started to look towards the forest. I saw a black wolf appear and then go back into the darkness. My eye lids were getting heavy now. I didn't know what would happen next, but then I was staring at my own body. Lance was right beside me.
