Maine and Rj are good friends, really good friends. Maine is 9 years old while Rj is 12. They were living in Samar,Leyte.

"Rj! taya!"

"Ang daya mo naman Meng!"

"Mga bata bilis pasok na sa loob!!" Said Maine's Father

"Bakit po itay?" asked Maine

"Bilisan niyo na lang! Mag tago na kayo o tumakbo paalis, parating na sila!"

Maine and Rj ran as fast they can, then they heard this statement

"Take no prisoners! I want to kill and burn! The more you kill, the better you will please me! Make Samar a howling wilderness. Kill anyone 10 years old and above..." Said Gen. Smith

"Rj takbo na!"

"Meng wag kang sumigaw! Maririnig tayo nila!"

"What are you doing young children?!?!?! Get the boy!" Said the guy

"Please no, wag po! Wala siyang ginawang masama!"

"Get out of our way young lady and run!"

"General Jacob Smith, we got this kid running away" Said the Lieutenant

"Great Job Lieutenant. Johnson" Said General. Smith

"Rj! Patawad! " Yelled Maine

"Mahal na ma..........................." Yelled Rj but got cut off because the soldiers had already shot him.

Maine never heard that statement, until now she till can't forgive herself.

Facts:

Yes,the statement "Take no prisoners....." was said by General Jacob Smith.

The killing started at October 1901 to January 1902. They had killed over 15,000 people. Also there were YOUNG girls raped by the Americans.
