Japanese Era

I didn't want to write a love story in this one. Just some happenings about the Japanese era. (I'll probably edit this after I post this).

December 7 1941

Terse message:

" AIR RAID ON PEARL HARBOR. THIS IS NO DRILL."

Teletype machine :

UNIDENTIFIED PLANES BOMBED PEARL HARBOR...MORE COMING"

At 5:30, Quezon (MANUEL L.QUEZON), in Baguio, was awakened and told the news.

"The zero hour is here. Every man and woman must be in his or her post to do the duty assigned him or her...Let us place our confidence in God who has never forsaken our people"

Bombs falling every where, explosion here and there, kids, people, were scared but had faith in God. December 26 1941, the Philippines was now an open city.

April 9, 1942

Death March

30,000 Soldiers walking from Bataan to Tarlac,Hurt, hungry and dehydrated. 5,000 Soldiers trying to escape here and there, people getting killed for escaping. Finally they reached their destination, Soldiers dying not from hunger but for eating straight away (their stomach was abrupted).
