"I'll begin this. My turn." Arturo said as he looked and summoned. "I summon Raidraptor - Necro Vulture, and use the effect of Raidraptor - Fuzzy Lanius to special summon it in defense mode. I then end with a facedown card." arturo said with two falcons resting before him. Yugi then drew and looked, "Ok, let me see... I summon Berry Magician Girl. When she's summoned, i'm able to add a Magician girl to my hand. I add Choco Magician Girl, and i set one card down, ending my turn."

"you should never leave a child alone on the battlefield Yugi." Arturo said as Berry Magician girl made an angry face at that remark and drew. 'his deck is reacting to me.. almost as if they are bonded to him... Hmm.." Arturo said drawing and looking upon his hand. and motioned. "Necro vulture attacks your Magician girl!" Arturo said as Yugi summoned another magician to the field, "when Berry is targeted by an effect or battle, she summons a magician girl and swaps to defense mode." Yugi said as berry gets attacked and destroyed by the battle. He didn't take damage but he saw Dark Magician Girl stand between Yugi and the Falcons of Arturo's army. "I end my turn then Yugi. Surprise me"
"My turn! Draw!" Yugi looked and saw an opportunity to summon one of his monsters. "I set one card face-down, next, I summon Chocolate Magician girl, who allows me to discard a card and draw a card." Yugi said as the winged magician girl sent a card from His hand, morphed it and sent it back. "Next, I activate Magical Dimension, allowing me to tribute a spell caster to summon a higher level monster from My hand! Chocolate magician girl morphs into-"Yugi said as another Dark Magician girl emerged."-Dark Magician Girl!"
"Next Magicial dimension allows me to destroy one monster you control! I destroy Necro Vulture!" Yugi said as Dark Magician Girl shot the magic beam at the monster and then smirked. "Now the fun begins.. Level 6 Dark magicians, dance together and form the Overlay Network!"

Arturo looked down in his hand and smirked, knowing yugi probably planned to destroy the Fuzzy Lanius with battle. Although his disk read the effect of Norito as able to negate any spells or traps; Arturo's effect to counter battle was in his hand, a monster. Yugi motioned soon after, "Norito, i order you to evolve! Overlay yourself!" Yugi said as Arturo stared, 'this kid didn't activate a rank-up-magic... what is this??!?!" Arturo thought as the magician flew into the vortex and began another XYZ summon.
"Magician of arcane secrets, bring forth the past and power of your students. XYZ Shokan! Arise, teacher of magicians, Rank 7, Ebon Illusion Magician!" Yugi said as the purple robed magician stood mighty over the startled Arturo. "Ebon Illusion magician's monster effect! Once per turn, by using one overlay unit, it can summon one normal Spellcaster type monster from my deck! I select the Dark Magician!" Yugi said as Ebon Illusion Magician caught one of the 3 orbiting balls and spawned a dark void and summoned Dark Magician from it. Two monsters with 2500 attack. Arturo was staring a possible loss in his face. Yugi then motioned, "Dark Magician! Attack!" He said as Arturo showed his monster card, "I use Booster Strix's monster effect! When a Raidraptor is targeted for battle, Booster Strix banishes itself and destroy's the attacker!" Arturo said hoping to save himself some life.
"Dark Magician is now destroyed!" Arturo said as Dark Magician is hit, but Yugi smirked as a second monster appeared, etheral in nature. Arturo stared at this ghost like Dark Magician as it rushed Fuzzy Lanius and destroyed it. "Ebon's effect. WHen a normal spellcaster attacks, it banishes one Face-up monster." he said to the empty field of Arturo and motioned, "Battle! Ebon Illusion attacks directly! Ebon Magic Stream!" Yugi said as ARturo dropped to 1500 and saw Yugi end his turn with a smile and ended his turn.
"This is bad.. I need to bring out something that can defeat his magician..." Arturo said before drawing his card, and seeing a chance. "I summon Raidraptor - Last Strix! This card allows me to tribute it and summon one Raidraptor XYZ monster from my extra deck, but destroy it in the end phase." Arturo said as the small bird flew up and shot down, opening an XYZ portal. Bringing out the monster, "Rise, Raidraptor - Rise Falcon!" he said as the falcon called out. "Next, I activate Rank-up-Magic Raptor's Force! I am able to summon one Raidraptor monster with a rank higher than the target!"
"Rank-up-magic?" Yugi said as the new falcon formed, red armor and flames rising with the new falcon, "Rise! Rank 5 Raidraptor - Blaze Falcon!" Arturo said as the red falcon landed between them. "Raidraptor - Blaze Falcon's monster effect! By using its overlay unit, it destroys all special summoned monsters you control! Upon which, you take 500 damage for each! Destroy his magician! Clear the path to your life!" Arturo said as the falcon shot its flamethrower wing cannons at Ebon Illusion and saw Yugi take the 500 damage and dropping him to 3500.
Yugi smiled and soon, Arturo saw why through the smoke. He made a grave mistake, underestimating this face down card Yugi had. "Continuous trap, Soul Resurrection. This card allows one Normal Type monster to rise up and be summoned from the grave in defense. I select, Dark Magician. Next, the effect of this monster, Magician of Black Illusion, when i activate a spell or trap on your turn, he is special summoned!" Yugi said as the two dark magicians stood on the field, as Arturo growled, "Damn... another chance wasted... I shouldn't be so cocky.." He said as Arturo ended his turn.
Yugi drew and motioned, "My two monsters, overlay!" he said as the magicians danced and formed another Vortex. "XYZ Shokan! Rise again, Rank 7, Ebon Illusion Magician!" Yugi chanted as the magician stood proud and used its effect, another Dark Magician appearing beside Yugi. "This is the end. Battle! Ebon Illusion Magician, Attack his Blaze Falcon! Then Dark Magician attacks directly!
Arturo slowly came too, Yugi offering a hand to Arturo. "W-wha... is this?"He asked as Yugi smiled, "Get up. Come now." He said as Arturo got helped. Laura walked up soon after. "You, Arturo Inzanki. You are quite the duelist... Tell me.. Where did you learn?" he asked as Arturo said, "Its a long.. LONG story... You'd never believe it." He said as Yugi nodded. "Inside then.. Explain me this story." he said as the 3 went in, yugi about to learn the past and what was to come.
