The crowd around them were soon watching in shock. Jonouchi held his disk to his arm and looked to the other lancers who awaited the duel results. "This isn't right.. It's a battle royale when it was originally a tag match?" He said as Jonouchi saw Yugi on the big monitor play a magician girl and engage someone in the Royale. "My turn Kaiba! I see you! I summon Chocolate magician girl! I now set a card!" He said as attendants have begun to give duelists the rules. Each duelist runs through the city and duels the opponents they find. The moment someone loses, they are taken out and the replacement is selected from the roster. This was kaiba's true vision of Battle City.
Yugi had engaged Kaiba first and saw Kaiba land above him and draw his card. "I summon Assualt Wyvern. Now slice that petty magician!" He shouted as the girl was sliced and taken out by the winged beast. Next the dragon shined and faded, "when Assualt Wyvern destroys a monster in battle; he allows himself to summon the legendary Blue-Eyes White Dragon!" He said as the crowd saw the dragon descend from Above and land on a tower beside the spire Kaiba stood on.

Blue eyes roared proudly and Kaiba motioned, "Direct attack Yugi" Kaiba said as the dragon shot him down and Yugi's life reduced to 5000, a rule of the battle city Royale came up; starting life is 8000. Yugi flipped his trap card, "Trap carz; Dark Horizon! I get to special summon one Spellcaster with attack equal or less than the damage I took. I summon Dark Magician!" Yugi said as the magician stood proudly in its new black armor and robes.

On the other side of the mock city, Arturo watches the roads like a hawk. It suited him; being descended from Kurosaki, his deck of his fathers old use. He used his dad's raptors and fought in duels like he used too. Watching and seeing blue eyes land, he knew the duel was beginning. He searched for his opponent and saw Yuno running. Arturo claimed the signal on the disk pinger and Yuno's blade entered duel mode and saw Arturo swoop in on Raidraptor -Vanishing Lanius, soon joined by two copies of Vanishing Lanius. "Yuno! Welcome to our duel!" He said as he stood on the hovering Falcons. His turn was of summoning one raptor, and using their conjoined effects for the 3 monsters summons. "After summoning a Raidraptor - Vanishing Lanius, I special summon two companions!" He said as Yuno shouted. "Arturo! This isn't right! We're supposed to be a team!" He said as Arturo nodded. "This is a team. Kaiba must desire to see who is the weak link on each team." Arturo said as he motioned, "And I won't be one such weak link! Level 4 Vanishing Lanius' overlay!"
