Change Of Heart (Shattered Heart 2)

Prologue:

"Bitiwan niyo ko!" Sigaw ni Miracle Grace Ford habang pumapalag sa mga lalaking may hawak sakanya.

"Kanina mo pa kami sinusundan." Akusa ng isa sa mga ito.

"Hindi ko kayo sinusundan. Please, let go." She begged. She looked around the dark alley.

"Boss, anong gagawin natin?"

"Bata lang yan, pakawalan niyo na."

"I'm with him!" She blurted, pointing at the man.

"Hindi pwede, nakita na niya tayo."

"Hindi kakanta yan."

"Malay mo pa, dalhin na lang natin kay boss?"

Patuloy lang sa pag de-debate ang mga lalaki.

"Dalhin na natin yan." Utos ng isa.

Hinawakan siya sa magkabilang braso ng dalawa pa. "Wait, bitiwan niyo ko!!"

"Wag kang malikot, kundi masasaktan ka na talaga!"

"Let go!"

Good. Everything is going as planned.

Grace smirked to  herself.

"The lady said, let go." Isang lalaki na mukhang kasing edad lang niya ang biglang lumapit.

No. You go.

"She said, fuck off." Hinawakan siya ng binata sa braso at hinila siya palayo sa mga lalaki. At itinago siya nito sa likod niya.

"Actually, I only said let go."

The guy turned and looked at her weird. "Are you dumb or simply stupid?"

"Excuse me?" She raised her eyebrow.

"Tss." The guy hissed.

"Hoy, kilala mo ba kami hah?" Lumapit ang isa sa mga lalaki.

"Nope." The guy smirked. "But I know you know who I am."

Mukhang nagulat ang isa. "Tol, tara na!!"

"Bakit ba? Sino ba to?!"

"Hayaan mo na yung mga bata! Tara na!"

"Natatakot kayo? Bata lang naman to." The man scoffed.

Lumapit ang binata sa mga lalaki. Mamaya pa, bigla nalang tumakbo papalayo ang mga ito.

Nag tutulakan pa nga eh.

"Hey, wait!" Di mapigilan ng dalaga na sumigaw.

"You," Turo sakanya ng binata. "What the hell are you doing in a dark alley in the middle of the freaking night?"

She gasphed. "Watch you language mister."

"A thank you will suffice."

"What? No. Di ako mag t-thank you!" She glared at him. "I waited for that chance, and you blew it!"

"Chance?" Naguguluhang tanong ng lalaki.

"My mission failed because of you, hero." She rolled her eyes.

The guy looked at her, bewildered for a moment. But when he regained his senses, he looked at her blankly. "Know what? I don't fckin care."

Nag simulang mag lakad ang binata na nakapamulsa. "Dope."

"WHAT?!"

But the guy did not even bother to turn nor stop, he just kept on walking.

 
"Where have you been ,young lady?." Her mother greeted as she enter their house. Julia Agatha was sitting with her arms crossed on her chest.

"Hello to you, too." Grace smiled.

"Miracle Grace." Her mom warned. "I thought we agreed your curfew was 11 pm?"

"Duty called, Mom." She shrugged. Dumaretso siya sa kusina nila at kumuha ng gatas.

"Grace," Julia sighed. "You're just like your father."

"Exactly." She smiled. "You don't have to worry about me, Mom." She walked to her mom and gave her a kiss on the cheek.

"I'm your mother, it's my job." Hinawakan ni Julia ang mag kabilang pisngi ng anak. "I love  you."

"I love you too, Mom." She hugged her.

"Alright, Angelina Jolie. First day of school tomorrow, get some sleep." Julia let her daughter go.

"Goodnight, Mom!"

"Goodnight, baby."
