Five days later...
"The police still don't have any leads on who abducted the four teen girls over five days ago. But they have reason to believe that this has to do with the death of Mona Vanderwaal, who was killed on thanksgiving."
Ezra clicks a button on the remote and the Tv screen goes black. He leans back against the couch and sighs.
"Ar. I promise I'll find you" He says, clutching her necklace in his hand.
He had found it while cleaning under the bed yesterday and hadn't let it out of his sight since. It might be the only thing he has of hers.
"No Ezra. Stop thinking that. You're going to rescue her. You're going to find them all" He reassures himself as he gets up and grabs his car keys.
A few minutes later, he was banging on the door to Caleb Rivers apartment. Caleb answers shortly after. He has bags under his eyes, identical to Ezra's.
"Hey what's up?" Caleb says, rubbing his eyes.
"You are a computer genius. With your skills, we can find Aria. We can find the girls" Ezra talks fast as if he has no time at all.
"Yeah okay" Caleb opens the door wider so Ezra can enter.
He walks in and sits at the empty desk chair. Caleb takes a seat next to him.
"Where do we start?" Ezra cracks his knuckles.
"Well I already hacked into the roadside cameras and I was just about to see what was on them when you came" Caleb said, pushing in numbers and letters on the keyboard.
"Here it is"
They're eyes stick to the screen like superglue as they watch the clip. A blank road. No cars. No buses. No vans. No Aria.
All of a sudden, the screen goes fuzzy and staticky.
"What the hell happened?!" Ezra shrieked.
A cartoon pops onto the screen.
Ezra throws his hands into the air and jumps off his chair. He punches the closest wall and winces in pain.
"Do you need some ice?" Caleb turns to him.
"I don't need ice. I need to find Aria and we've got nothing. Nothing!" Ezra screams pointing at the computer screen.
"Thanks for the help but I should be going" was the last thing Ezra said before leaving with a slam of the door.
