CHAPTER 3

ELISA'S P.O.V

"See you soon" The good looking man, Lorenzo says to me as he slowly lets go of my hand. I can feel his eyes on me as I walk away but I hold my desire to turn around and look at him once more and maybe......... for the last time. Lets face it, what is the chance of seeing a handsome stranger again. What is the Probability? Also, when he spoke to me he had a very sexy accent and I'm pretty sure it's Italian. Nonno Antonio and Nonna Violette have the same accent and they sound very similar to Lorenzo, except the husky, deep provoking voice of his. Now I was hesitating if I should or should not give him my phone number.............No, probably not he is super sexy and he might be a playboy and I don't want to get hurt. Not risking it!

I head to where my Nonno Antonio and Nonna Violette are and my dogs follow right behind me so I can say goodbye for now and a thank-you for such an exquisite breakfast.

"Nonno, Nonna!" I call out to them before they have the time to go away. Tuesdays are always busy here since grama servers her specialty of 'Carbonara' and if I don't say so myself, it is very good and very filling. Everyone so far have said that it taste the same way back in Italy but I can't agree in that aspect since I haven't been to Italy but I will go; it is my dream and goal. I am  saving money so I could spend a few months their instead of just a few days. I actually want to feel and enjoy my time their.

"I just wanted to say that I'm already leaving for work and also that I am very sorry because I won't be able to come for a little while it's not that I don't want to come it's just that my work will be busier starting on Thursday and I am also moving to my new place." I blurt out closing my eyes knowing, that they will scold me for not visiting.

"We understand bambina, but please do make sure to come soon." My dear Nonno Antonio expresses sadly, pouting like a small child that can't have candy.

"Ahhhh, Fine but you better come or I will personally go for you and bring you back." Nonna Violette claims assertively, making me laugh by her faked mad expression.

"I'll be right back, don't move." Violette says eyeing me to not dare and move a single step or she will tackle me down to the floor.

"We can come and help if you'd like." Antonio offered.

"Thank-you, but no thank-you, Nonno, I can manage myself and a friend is gonna come and help me. Plus, I don't want to be a bother." I reply as I lean in to give Nonno a kiss on the cheek. Nonna comes back holding a bag with their restaurant name and guessing it's food hahaha.

"Here, I put your lunch, and dessert for you to have later, okay. You better keep yourself well fed and at least call." she says almost crying. She hands me my bag and I jump up from happiness and I hug them tight.
