RECAP:
“Thanks for telling me.” he smiled a kind grin, the one that makes me fall in love with him all over again.
“But you know that there is a bright side to this dream, right?” Taylor smirked playfully at me
I cocked my head to the side and gave him a confused look making him chuckle quietly, “It gives me an excuse to do this.” he smiled, and leaned down, capturing my lips into a magical kiss.

BELLA'S POV:
Chapter 25: Daddy's Little Girl
I starred down at my clock for what seemed to be the millionth time. Today was the day that my mom, grandma's, and friends were going to come down, and help me find my wedding dress!
I guess that you could say that I was far beyond excited! I think that one of the best parts of a wedding is the dress. Just the way that the bride glows when she comes down the aisle, and especially the grooms face when he sees her!
I couldn't stop the squeal from irrupting, earning me strange looks from passerby’s. My friends had gone back to Boston a while ago, but it feels like they never even left what with them constantly coming down to visit their boyfriends. Not that I mind of course, I love having them around. They can definitely put a smile on my face...
I shook my head as a smile creeped onto my lips.
I looked around me, at the scurrying travelers that were rushing towards the doors, eager to get to wherever they were departing to.
Taylor had asked me at least twenty times if I needed help picking my family, and the girls up from the airport but I told him that I would be fine on my own, and all that he had to do was occupy my dad and brother while we were out shopping for the dress.
I find it so sweet how Taylor keeps asking me if I want any help with the planning, but I sort of want it to be a surprise. Not all of it, of course, but at least some parts. I want, no need, him to know how much I love him.
I smiled to myself as I thought all of this through. I hardly even noticed the mob of people that were sprinting towards me until I was engulfed by the crowd.
I laughed breathlessly as I was passed around the circle of loved ones. I recognized the difference in hugs, my grandmas were soft and delicate unlike the rest of my family and friends who certainly didn't hold back their enthusiasm to see me!
I rolled my eyes for what seemed like the millionth time as my dad continued to tell me to slow down or put my turn signal on. The joys of having a cop as a father!
After a painful twenty minute drive we finally pulled up at the house. My brother and dad complained that they didn't want to just sit in the house all day. But when they found out that Taylor would be with them, they quickly perked up. I cringed away from the thought of what they could possibly get up to in a town so large.
TAYLOR'S POV:
I laughed along with Tom as we watched Jake's face turned to one of pure fear as he listened to the voice message from his wife who sounded like she was pretty pissed off.
Jake sighed as he hung up the phone and looked extremely reluctant to say what he was about to, “I think that I should call her back.” he sighed, and as he was walking by he muttered to me, “ Careful what your getting yourself into man.”
I chuckled quietly to myself at his words. Bella and I had a completely different relationship then him and Becca.
“So Taylor,” Tom's voice interrupted my thoughts. I looked up to stare into the same eyes that belonged to Bella. His voice sounded a little strained and protective.
“Yeah?” I asked, a little unsure of where this conversation was going.
“Look,” he sighed, plopping down onto the couch next to me with an exasperated sigh, “I know that your a good man Taylor. I know that. If I didn't know that I wouldn't be letting you marry my daughter. I understand that you've known my daughter for a while now. But I am still her father, and um...” he shifted uncomfortably in his seat, “And well I know that you two are perfectly capable of taking care of yourselves and all.” he stopped again to scratch the back of his neck with his palm nervously.
Oh, shit! I know where this conversation is going.
I smiled a reassuring grin at him, “Mr. Smith, I know that you love your daughter, and I love her too. I promise you that I would never do anything to hurt her. Ever.” I promised, my voice thick with concern
He puffed out a breath of relief, probably because he didn't have to give me that talk, even though I was perfectly aware of it.
He looked at me for a few seconds, looking for something to tell him that I thought otherwise. But when he found nothing he sighed, “Oh thank goodness, turn on the game won't you?” he asked, getting comfier in his seat, now more relaxed that, that part of the conversation was over.
I chuckled quietly to myself, and grabbed the remote from the coffee table. I quickly flipped on the game.
I leaned back in my seat and thought of if I would ever be in Tom's position, having to talk to the guy that was about to marry my daughter. I grinned at the thought of starting a family with Bella. I was positive that she would all have her beauty and kindness.
Wow, did I just say, she? I thought about it for a minute and realized that I did think that our first child would be a girl, I could see it. Daddy's little girl.
I smiled widely to myself again, I like the sound of that.
Consumed in my thoughts of Bella and babies, I drifted off into a light sleep. With the sound of the game in the background as my lullaby.
