-IF YOUR A BIRD, I'M A BIRD. (The Notebook)
CHAPTER 26: Tickle Wars
BELLA'S POV:
My hands quickly sorted through different fabric as I frantically looked through the amounts of wedding dresses. In the last hour I had seen practically every dress that there was in the store, but no matter what anyone showed me, I was dead set on finding MY dress.
I knew that it was the one even before I actually saw it. The texture was unlike the rest that I had seen, it was satin but also a type of texture that was unusual. The rest itself was breathtaking, it had some lace at the top of it encircling the waist, but the rest of it flowed out naturally.
I couldn't repress the squeal that irrupted, causing my mom to drop the dress that she was looking at. I giggled at her outburst.
"What? What happened?" she asked running over to where I was standing
I didn't say anything, instead I just took the dress from the hanger and held it out for her to examine. I think that she liked it because she was speechless.
"Oh honey," she finally manage to choke out, "Its perfect." she smiled hugely at me
I returned the grin with just the same amount of enthusiasm. "Can I try it on?" I quietly asked
"Of course," she said with a quick nod, "Let's get you into that beauty."
We walked towards the assistent when we had finally grabbed my friends and grandmothers. They all were excited to see me in the dress. I was too.
"Excuse me." I said, trying to get the lady's attention, "Is there any way t_" she inturrupted me with a huge gasp and a slight scream that had me jump a little in surprise.
"Your_ your Taylor Lautner's Fiancée !" she sighed dreamily
I nodded a little hesitant and looked towards my friends for help, but they were too busy laughing their heads off. I rolled my eyes at them and turned my attention back towards the squealing assistant.
"Um is there anyway that I could get a room to try on the dress?" I asked politly, gesturing towards the dress in my arms.
" Oh, why of course!" She churped happily
I gave her a small smile as she led us all towards a room. I really hoped that this was the one. I don't know why I suddenly loved this dress so much, but I did and I really hoped that it was good enough for Taylor.
When I finally had my dress on, I slowly turned around to face the mirror. I smiled brightly when I saw myself. This was definitly the dress.
I practically skipped into the house, I was instructed by everyone to distract Taylor as they quickly snuck the dress up to my room and did who knows what with it.
I stopped suddenly when I saw that they were all sititng on the couch watching the game. I smiled to myself as I tip-toed to the couch and put my hands in front of Taylor's eyes.
"Guess who?" I laughed
I heard him chuckle quietly before answering, " Brad Pitt?" he asked with an evident grin on his face, even though I was standing behind him.
"Close enough." I shrugged, and leaned down to give him a quick kiss on the head before walking around the couch to drop down on the other side of him.
I didn't get the chance to get too comfortable before I was lifted and put into his secure arms.
"Hey there." I giggled, and got a look from my dad, whoops.
I tried to squirm out of Taylor's arms but he wouldn't let me move, I gave him a small glare but that didn't help. So instead I just gave up and settled down.
"Hey daddy." I spoke up after a few moments
He gave me an amused look, "Wow you remembered that I was here." he chuckled to himself and shook his head. I felt my cheeks heat up as a blush came over my face.
"Sorry." I mumbled, "Oh Jake, Becca called me right when we left. She wanted me to let you know that she needed to talk to you." I told my brother, giving him my best smile
"Gee, thanks for the message. But I think its a little too late for that." he spoke, his voice thick with sarcasm.
I felt Taylor rumble from under me, and I looked down at him in confusion. He just shook his head and kissed my temple.
I turned back to Jake still a little confused and smiled, "Wanna hug it out?" I asked extending my arms, hopefully.
He seemed to think about that for a minute before smirking and answering with a quick nod. I grinned, and went to get up, this time Taylor let me go. I walked the few steps towards Jake, and knelt down to give him a hug, but I guess he had different ideas.
He grabbed me at first, with the intension of what seemed like a hug, but turned into him tickling me like crazy. I giggled uncontrolably as he continued to get, what I suppose was his revenge on me.
I tried multiple times to throw a few punches at him but he darted them effortlessly while just pinning my flailing hands behind my back and throwing me onto the floor, and literally body slamming onto me.
I gasped out loud, getting my breath knocked out of me.
Taylor started to get up to help me, but my dad stopped him, "Don't worry, this is regular for them." I could practically here the smile in his voice. No doubt he was enjoying watching his kids fighting like seven year olds.
"Don't worry man, I won't hurt her too bad." Jake grinned up at Taylor, who seemed like he was conemplating whether or not to jump on top of Jake and rip him off of me.
I took Jake's lack of attention to flip him onto his back, I quickly sat on his back to stop him from moving.
"What the hell?!" Jake screamed annoyed
"You know Jake, I love you so much. I think that you deserve that hug." I smiled and leaned down to encircle him in my definition of a bear hug.
I felt him squirm from beneath me which made me hug him even tighter.
"Alright fine, you win." he sighed, and quite figthing
I grinned, "I know. Don't I always?" I quickly jumped off of him and ran into Taylor's waiting arms.
When Jake started to get up, I already knew his intentions. Apparently so did Taylor because he quickly grabbed me and brought me to the safty of his chest.
Jake seeing that he wasn't going to get past Taylor, just gave up and plopped down onto the couch opposite of us.
I felt Taylor's hot breath blow into my ear, giving me mountain high goosebumps.
"Kick ass." he mutter too low for my dad or Jake to hear.
I laughed out loud, causing me to get weird looks from my dad and my brother. But I didn't care because I got the joke and so did Taylor who laughed along with me.
I was happy.
