I woke up the next morning......well afternoon. I stretched and sat there not understanding why no one was saying to me....why I wasn't being called a dumb ass or the emo freak, then reality finally hit me, I realized I was no longer in the orphanage I was in a real home.....this was gonna take some getting used to.
I smiled to myself as I hoped out of bed and went to my closet, I grabbed a Crown The Empire T-shirt blue skinny jeans my bra and my underwear then i grabbed my towel and went to my bathroom and started the shower.
I stripped from my PJs and got in and sighed as the warm water hit my back. I stood under the warmth of the water for about 10 minutes socking up the heat then grabbed my coconut shampoo and washed my hair then rinsed and grabbed my coconut conditioner and add that then again rinsed, after washing and conditioning my hair I shaved my legs washed my body and got out, wrapping up in my black fluffy towel.
I grabbed my cloths off the counter and walked into my bedroom to get dressed, I rolled my eyes at myself "what was the point of even bringing them into the bathroom with me?" I sighed and got dressed then walked over to my desk and grabbed my phone and hair brush, I brushed my hair and set the brush back on the desk.
I slowly made my way down stairs, as I was scrolling through twitter (I know I know everyone uses twitter in their books) I came across a post that I was tagged in, I didn't recognize the username but the comment wasn't very nice.
Comment: "Stay the fuck away from Cody you attention seeking whore!!"
"Well then." I whispered as I sat on the couch and shut my phone off and turned on the TV.
I let out a loud obnoxious sigh as kept looking through the TV guide not being able to find anything good on, that was until I came across Disney channel and my little kid side made me click OK and I started watching Little Einsteins. I sat there watching it for god knows how long, clearly long enough for me to be zoned into it that I didn't even realize Cody was saying my name.
"Astrid.."
"Hey, Astrid."
"Hello....Earth to Astrid!"
"ASTRID!!!!!!"
I felt something soft hit the back of my head but that soft object was NOT thrown softly.
I turned and looked at Cody trying my best to show annoyance.
"Can I help you?"
He smiled clearly pleased with fact that he got my attention.
"Yes you can."
"Well....what do you want, can't you see that I'm watching a very serious TV show?"
"Well..I wouldn't exactly call Little Einsteins "Very Serious"."
I rolled my eyes
"Just tell me what you want."
"Have you seen my slippers."
I glared at him.
"Is that really all you wanted, was that question really worth throwing a pillow at me?"
He stood there for a minute clearly trying think of a good answer to that.
"Yes."
I groned.
"Go fall in a hole." I mumbled under my breath.
"That's not very nice."
"Jesus! What are you part hawk!?"
He rolled his eyes.
"Can you just tell me if you've seen my slippers or not?"
"No Cody, I have not seen your bunny slippers."
"Don't judge."
He said as he laied on the floor looking under the couh for his slippers.
"Judge?.....how was I judging all I said was I haven't seen your bunny slippers."
"Its how you said it."
He said has he sat up and looked at me.
"Oh I'm sorry, let me refraze that.
No Cody I haven't seen your cute bunny slippers."
He glared at me and groned as he started to walk back up stairs.
"Just go get ready, were gonna go to the studio."
I giggled as I hung upside down over the arm of the couch.
"Awe Cody I'm sorry."
"Mhmm sure, just go get ready."
Then his bedroom door shut.
I laughed softly and shut the TV off and ran up stairs to finish getting ready.
I'm so excited, I get to go to the studio.
