The drive to the studio was pretty long.
"Cody?"
"Yes Astrid?"
"Are we..." I started but was cut off "No Astrid we are not there yet....ask one more time and I'll throw you out."
I gasped pretending to be hurt.
"How rude!"
I said then crossed my arms over my chest.
"Well then stop asking."
I rolled my eyes and looked out the window.
About 20 minutes later we arrived at the studio.
Cody and i unbuckled and got out and made our way to the studio room.
"Great! you're here, now we can start." Maxx said as he picked up his drum sticks.
"Hey Cody?" I asked.
"Yeah?"
"Would it be alright if i walked around well you guys practice?'
"Yeah sure, just don't get into any trouble."
I smiled and started to walk out of the room.
"But trouble is my middle name."
"I mean it."
I sighed.
"Okay, okay I won't get into any trouble."
"Good."
And with that I left the room, as I started to leave i could hear them start with the song "The Haunting"
I hummed the song as I walked around, well I was walking around I became to busy checking out the walls that held cases with golden records in them to notice the sign that read "Stairs Ahead." I mean I noticed it but I wasn't exactly paying attention to it.
I took one more step and that's when I noticed the stairs, I closed my eyes tightly waiting for the hard jagged impact, but nothing, I opened my eyes and I was no longer staring at the the stairs I was staring at a T-shirt that read "Get Scared."
I looked up to see the face of the person wearing the shirt.
I about died, the face was cute "the face really?" I mean the person was cute, he had black hair that was swepted to one side he had amazing green eyes, he also had a septum ring snake bites and gauges.
"U-um." Was all I said.
"Next time watch where you're going, or I'll let you fall down those stairs." He said and let go of me.
I looked away, blushing slightly.
"What, no thank you?"
The guy said as he flicked his head a bit to move some of the hair out of his face.
"Oh um....t-thank you."
"Your welcome, what's your name by the way?"
"Um...a-astrid." I replied as I looked up at him.
"Well now I know you name, I'll at least be able to have something to call you other then "Hey You." "
"Yeah...what's your name?"
"Kaiden."
"Nice to meet you Kaiden.."
"Nice to meet you too, well I gotta get back to work, try not to fall down anymore stairs, okay?"
I nodded.
With that turned around and left.
I smiled to myself.
"I think I'm gonna start coming here more often."
*Car Ride Back Home*
On the drive back home I literally couldn't stop smiling, I was a smiling fool.
Cody cleared his throat.
"So how was your day?"
I kept smiling softly "it was good, yours?"
"Mine was fine...ok I gotta ask, why are you so smiley?"
I just shrugged.
"No reason."
We pulled up to the house.
"Sure..."
Cody said as we got out and walked into the house.
I ran up to my room and shut my door then laied in my bed and I could feel my smiling getting bigger.
I've never felt this way ever....I kinda like it.
