Hang on.

When everyone listens but no one hears.
My screams are silent and mentally heard.

Doors they open, doors they shut but I'm trapped inside, clawing inside my skull. Lies and concern you think they care but there's only a few who are actually there.
Emotionally damaged, drained of worry and never not even a 'sorry' but down the road there is a light I promise you so just hold on tight. Don't break down, don't even cry because one day you'll be the one saying goodbye.
