Cupid came by the other day and believe -It or-Not he stole my breath away.
He didn't have a bow nor did he send arrows my way,he just sent himself and my heart beat delayed.
I knew he wasn't perfect, he had his flaws, but he was perfect to me and he had me floored!
He had black hair and long lashes,he flashed a smile and suddenly I was irrational , the Crown that was taken, he gave it back. Dazzling and shiny ,it fit me like a cap.
He appeared so suddenly in my life, he made it brighter. I felt more alive.
The shattered pieces? He fixed it up. Like a puzzled he pieced me up. He came in to my life like a wrecking ball, he broke my barrier and shattered my walls.
The love he showed me, built me up, made me fly and soar above.
Every time I shut him out and asked him to turn back, he did the exact opposite, he had me trapped.
Where my heart is, he now stays and the heart of mine he has it in a cage .
Always there for me to lean on, always there to hear. always at my side always close and near.
I know I love him, without a doubt. He's my always and forever, the one I can't do without.
