Albus

I woke up on the ground groggy and confused. Quinn hand just peeled off her face... and was holding the layer of "skin" in front of me. I sat up, frowning before coming up with an idea. I pulled a pair of tweezer from my pocket, taking the layer from her hands and walked out of the room with an idea in mind.

Quinn followed me silently, leaving Cece and Ronan in her room as we walked downstairs and stopped in front of a silver tube. I stepped into it, letting it whisk me underground where our labs were.

I set the layer down gently on a thin clear slab of glass and slipped on a pair of latex gloves. "Skin is made up of three layers, the epidermis, the dermis, and lastly, the hypodermis." I started off, confirming everything with Quinn, who nodded silently, stepping out of another silver tube behind me. "Your fake layer of skin was designed to have its texture rubber-like. Thus, under my assumption, it must be composed after a replication of one of your skin cells, with the combination of two layers of thin rubber, heated to five hundred nine degrees Fahrenheit, one place on the uttermost outside and one underneath the layer of skin, so that when you peel it off, it wouldn't hurt or damage your skin."

"Always the genius." Quinn muttered, groaning. "Why can't you let me take the glory of explaining it to you?" She crossed her arms while I smiled triumphantly. I guess I'll take that as a complement... not like her usual insults.

I shrugged, setting my hands down in the lab table. "What was your point? I mean, the point of creating a fake layer of skin with a rubbery layer?"

"It would be able to past DNA collectors. It would resemble us, but it wouldn't be us. It changes our identity. Obviously, I wasn't able to create identities or anything, I was just able to make something to hide our identities."

I nodded at Quinn, understanding her words. I then brushed a few skin cells off my arm, and set it down on a thin glass sheet. "I can replicate your lab creation... with a few tweaks of course." I smiled, rubbing my hands together. "I could even make a body suit of fake skin! That includes changing the eye color, and other type of detectors!"

Quinn stared at me blankly, as if I was mental. "What? Can you... show me?" I frowned, rolling my right sleeve up to my watch.

"Nope. I've got ah... uh... meeting with a few other... friends." I managed to say, tearing off my gloves anxiously, giving Quinn a false smile. "Er... another time, perhaps." I tossed my gloves in the trash can and raced out of the lab, flying up the silver tube and ran to my room, taking a heavy breath before closing my eyes, thinking about what I really was suppose to do.

Suspicious...

Hey!

Albus isn't that convincing...

I know... but what else could he do?

Hmm... is it a good time to mention it?

Yeah. Let's start with Cece, shall we?

We shall.

Indeed.
