"What do you mean she's hell?" Tony snapped while removing the mask from her face, keeping the shape and trying different facial features to fit it in.

"Tony, that won't help. Tony, Anthony!" Jessica yelled, pulling his hands away and holding his wrists in front of her. Tony finally noticed the tears in her eyes and his protective instinct kicked in. He pulled Jessica to his chest, resting his chin on her head.

"Ok, it's ok Jess whatever it is we can fix it." Tony comforted the smaller girl. She pulled away when Natasha and Pietro entered, quickly followed by Bruce.

"What happened?" Pietro asked while rubbing the sleep from his eyes. Jessica swallowed and looked to where Bucky and Steve were sleeping. Bruce jumped and ran over to the two, checking for breathing and a pulse.

"Bruce they're just asleep." Jessica said. Bruce sighed and stood up when he was satisfied the two were fine. Jessica swallowed and blinked back tears before feeling Tony's arm around her waist.

"OK, a few minutes ago somebody broke in here. Her name is Lorin Gallegos, she's HYDRA. She's the Midnight Soldier, Bucky trained her, along with the Red Room teachers." jessica explained. Tony had pulled away to narrow his eyes at the girl, curious as to how she knew so much.

"I know her, because, she was my best friend." Jessica said. Pietro threw his hands up in exasperation, sensing the parallels between Jessica and this Midnight Soldier, and Bucky and Steve.

"How do you know what she's trained in?" Tony asked suspiciously. Jessica shuffled her feet, looking to Bruce for help. He offered none, instead shook his head.

"I uh, I was captured during the same year she was, about a month after. HYDRA had the Winter Soldier, but they wanted more assets because he was so successful. Lorin got the super soldier serum, and training with Bucky and the Red Room. She's basically a female version of him, excluding the metal arm." Jessica explained. Tony groaned and pinched the bridge of his nose. metallica had annoyed him enough when they ran into him, but now a girl version?

"Anything else we need to know?" Natasha asked. Jessica felt something touch the edges of her conscience and glared at Wanda who smiled sheepishly before retreating.

"Well, HYDRA is how I got my powers. They knew she would be successful, they had done that before, but they wanted something stronger. They altered the super soldier serum so it wouldn't enhance muscle as much as the mind. They didn't know what powers it would give me, but they tried it anyway." Jessica said, walking towards the super soldier pile and sinking down next to Steve, leaning against his shoulder.

"The next morning I woke up and everything was floating around my cell. Lorin was screaming and I heard someone else's voice I didn't recognize, telling them to stop. Take them instead. I figured out later that voice was Bucky. Anyway, when I noticed everything was floating I panicked and everything, imploded? I guess it would be imploded." Jessica had slowly been nuzzling her way behind Steve's large figure in an attempt to hide from the team.

"But, it imploded and created black holes. What hadn't been turned into a black hole was sucked into the black holes with the exception of me. Then my fingers started glowing, and I touched one of the black holes and it disappeared. Once I got rid of the black holes I noticed the screaming wasn't happening out loud, it was in someone's head." She explained. Tony sat down next to her, his knees pulled up to his chest and his arms resting atop his knees while he listened to Jessica's backstory.

"That's when I found out about the telepathy. I kind of reached out to where the screaming was coming from, with my mind, and then wished I hadn't. Lorin wasn't, Lorin anymore. Her memories were gone and she was kind of just there. And in a lot of pain." Jessica said, finally giving up her quest to hide behind the sleeping super soldier. She leaned against Tony instead.
