My Life with the Richards Family: Chapter 12

Sawyer's P.O.V.

I want to tell Blake she looks hot in her outfit but I can't get those words out of my mouth. Instead I just sit there staring at her like a freak.

"Blake, you look amazing!" I finally manage to spit out.

"Thank you." She says sitting next to me, "what do you wanna do?"

"We can watch a movie or something."

"Ok, what do you wanna watch?"

"I don't care you pick." I say standing up.

"The Hunger Games?" She asks.

"Sure! I love that movie."

"Me too, I'll go get changed and then go get some snacks." She says walking over to her dresser. She pulls out a pair of zebra print pyjama bottoms and a coral tank top.

"I'll be right back." She says walking into the bathroom.

Blake's P.O.V.

I walk into the bathroom and get changed into my pyjamas. I put my hair up in a messy ponytail and wash my face clean of makeup. I walk out back into my bedroom and Sawyer is laying on my bed scrolling through Twitter on his phone.

"What do you want for a snack?" I ask walking over to him.

"Popcorn, corn chips and candy?" He replies looking at me.

"Sure, where do I get all of this?"

"You can get the corn chips and popcorn in the kitchen but the candy is in my room. Which I'll go get."

"Alrighty, I'll go down to the kitchen and get the chips and popcorn." I say leaving my room and taking the stairs to the kitchen.

When I reach the kitchen Hayden is sitting at the kitchen table colouring. I walk over to her and sit with her.

"Hi Blake." She says looking up at me.

"Hi chicky what you colouring?" I ask.

"A princess."

"She's a pretty princess."

"Yeah she is. Blake?"

"Yeah?"

"Can I tell you something?"

"Yep sure go ahead."

"Sawyer thinks your beautiful and cute." She says giggling a little.

"Really? Well don't tell him but I think the same for him except the beautiful part."

"My lips are sealed." She says going back to colouring.

I pop popcorn and put the corn chips in a big bowl and the popcorn in another.

"Remember your lips are sealed." I say to Hayden as I leave the kitchen and walk back up to my room.

I reach my room and Sawyer isn't in there. So I put all my new clothes away. I'm almost done putting everything away when Sawyer walks back in with two Needs bags.

"Where did you go?" I ask putting a pair of jeggings in the drawer.

"The store." He replies sitting on my bed.

"I thought you were just going to your room."

"Nope, I went to the store right quick."

"Oh ok cool." I say sitting next to him.

"Did you put the movie in yet?"

"Yep, and I got the corn chips and popcorn." I say throwing a pillow at Sawyer and taking one for myself. I take two blankets out of my closet and place them beside me just in case we need them.

"Ok you ready?" He asks as I lay down next to him.

"Yep." I say as he starts the movie.

The movie ends and we decide to go down to the home gymnasium to practice volleyball. It has a soundproof door so nobody will here us. Even though it is 11:30 at night we are still wide awake.

"Blake?" Sawyer asks.

"Yeah?"

"Will you help me set up the net?" He asks as a walk over to the supply closet.

"Of course." I say picking up the netting part.

Sawyer rolls out the two poles and I put up the netting. I run back into the supply closet and take out a soft volleyball.

"Can you take me Alder?" He says running under the net over to the other side.

"I'll try Richards." I say giggling.

I throw the ball up and over hand serve the ball and it goes right to Sawyer. He bumps it back to me and I spike it over and it lands right at his feet.

"I think I underestimated you." He say picking up the ball.

"I think you did." I reply as he serves it.

The serves comes right to me and I set it by myself. When I spike it over it goes right to Sawyer and he bumps it back over. I spike it over and Sawyer misses it. He giggles to himself. The 'game' goes on for awhile. Sawyer and I both agreed to go to bed because it was late. On our way up to the third floor Sawyer says, "I had a lot of fun today."

"Me too, me too." I say ask the elevator doors open on the third floor.

Sawyer steps out and says, "good night gorgeous."

The elevator doors close and I ride up to the forth floor. I reach the floor and walk into my room. I flop on my bed and think, not even 2 hours ago the hottest boy I've ever meet was laying her next to me. I fall asleep thinking about how much I love Sawyer
