Luke left an hour ago and currently on Darcy's bed. Listening to Darcy rant about her sister-in law and her brother makes me feel better about myself. Is that bad? I could have been doing better things , such as...sleeping. It has been around... give or take... thirty minutes? I think she's repeating and rephrasing her sentences. Man, her bed sheets are really comfortable. I think I might fall asleep.

"SHE'S DEFINITELY NOT the best person in the world! She spent all my brother's money on their dumb wedding, which was gorgeous and amazing but, that's not the point! My point is, she is a gold digger! My brother is too blind and too madly in love with her. You would think they would have kids by now, nope. She's almost in her mid-thirty's, they have a nice house to settle in, and they've been together for years already; why not have kids? Actually, I don't know. The thought of little Mackenzie's running around will just make me think about how much I want to kick them"

Darcy squints her eyes at me. " Oh, okay. You feel bad. What? Do you want him and I to switch places, so that he sleeps with you? Is that what you meant, Penelope?" What is this, an interrogation? Is she some detective?

I stood up , resting on one elbow on the bed facing Darcy. " No, that is not entirely what I meant. He's cute. Actually, he's more than cute. 'Cute' is someone who you can talk about with most moms. He's hot. He said his name was Keith right?", I honestly don't remember if he said Keith, what I remember were those strong arms he had. Like, Hello! I just want to jump his bones. What's wrong with me? I didn't properly meet the guy.

"No, it's Heath"

"What? Are you sure?"

"Penelope, why are you doubting me? I've known him for a year. His name is Heath", I'm pretty sure I heard Keith.

"Yeah, you've got a point"

"I know. Anyway ; he's twenty-six , just moved into a building that's not far from here, he's an English teacher for middle schoolers and, he's single", Darcy said nonchalantly.

"Good information. When do you think they'll be back? An hour?" , was I being too stalker-like?

"Penelope, it doesn't take 2 hours to eat quick comfort food. They'll probably be back in twenty minutes." she says as she hangs up some clothing.
"Actually, Mackenzie mentioned that she wanted to go shopping. So, give them three hours" Okay, I need to shower. I don't want to smell like stress and coffee.
