Chapter 4

Sorry this is SOOOOOO short! I wrote it on the bus during a field trip to Minneapolis. My life has been super crazy since I'm in the middle of this stupid custody battle that started back in August! Sorry to ramble... Well please enjoy:) I don't own Shugo Chara or its characters;)

Ikuto's POV:

I reach for the handle and slowly open the door, stepping into the small dismal room that operates as my fathers office.

I close the door behind me as I wonder what my father had called me to his office for. "Sit down." Father commands. I take a seat in the foldable chair that sits before his desk.

He looks at me with somewhat of a bemused look, causing me to fear that he discovered the empty warehouse. "Well," Father says, "Amu's parents received the video, and immediately withdrew the ransom money from their bank accounts.

I called you in here to tell you how we will go about returning Amu. As you know, at first, we were going to take the money, and then return Amu and immediately flee the country. Well, there's been a slight change of plans.

As you know, because of Amu's "social position", she is worth a lot on the black market. Selling her would make us 5 million dollars richer.

So I decided we're going to ransom her, and sell her." he sits back in his chair with a triumphant smile.

I try to keep my cool as I think of what this means. Then I think of a snag in the plan.

"How are we going to get the ransom money without handing over Amu first?" I ask, hoping my father will decide not to sell Amu.

"We will hand Amu over, but as soon as we get the money, you'll shoot the parents and I'll grab Amu. Its easy enough, but if you do it wrong, or try to trick me, you will regret it. Understood?" sigh,

"What about the police?" I ask hoping I'm not wearing my fathers patience to much. "There won't be any police. We assured that first thing when we contacted the Hinamori's. Now, am I understood ." I try not to cringe back in my seat at his harsh words. "Yes sir." I say as I stand up and bow to my father. "Am I excused, sir?" Father nods and I quickly leave before he changes his mind.

(((( Just thought I'd let you guys know, I might not continue this story for much longer): No one is reading it so I'm kinda losing hope that it's any good at all.
