Ikuto's POV

It has been an hour since I had left Amu, I thought as I walked down the hall that led to my room. I was balancing a tray of soup and bread. I figure that Amu has to be starving by now, since she hasn't eaten in hours. I finally reached the bedroom and I quickly pushed the door open, almost dropping the tray.

I look around and the first thing I notice is that Amu is missing. Then I notice the open window. I quickly set the tray on my desk as I go through the different scenarios of what could have happened to Amu.

First: She could have found the window and tried jumping out using the sheet. That's most likely since the sheet is hanging out the window.

Second: My Fathers servants could have snitched on me. My Father would have sent someone to collect Amu and then make it look like she escaped. This would cause me to go after her, which would confirm that I was either A. In love with her, or B. Afraid of my father.

Third: Amu could still be in here, but she wanted to see how I would react to her escaping, which means she may not trust me.

Let's start with the third option and work our way to the first one. I start to look everywhere in my room, for any sign of her. I look under the bed, in the closet, and finally in my dresser (which is huge). I notice that my phone, blanket, and Amu's shoes are all gone. This definitely rules out the third option.

I need to check the warehouse. If my father did set this up than she would either be in the warehouse or in his room. I'll just check his room on the way to the warehouse. I grab my key ring and head to my Father's room.

I get a little nervous as I pass maids in the hall. What if my Father does have Amu? Is he toying around with her? Making her cry because of me?

I finally reach the door and place my ear next to it. I don't hear anything so I quickly unlock it and step inside, locking it behind me. "Amu?" There was no reply. I quickly look through my Fathers closet, careful not to move anything. I then check his bathroom.

I come out of the bathroom and glance around. I notice my father's credit card and shove it in my pocket without a second thought.

Thankfully Amu was not in my Fathers room. I quickly leave, careful not to be caught by a maid, or worse, my Father. I lock the door and run as fast as I can to the backyard door.

I get outside and quickly run to the northern forest line. About a hundred feet back is a small clearing. I run to the clearing and thrust myself at the warehouse doors. They are locked from when I last left the warehouse. I grab the key ring from my pocket and quickly pick the warehouse key. I unlock the doors and run inside, checking every corner to make sure that Amu isn't here.

I sigh in relief when I'm sure she isn't here. But now the only option left is her running. She is out in the forest all alone. She won't know what she's doing, she's never even been camping before! She is used to living in her expensive town house.

I'll have to find her! I quickly lock the warehouse back up and run to the house. I go to my room and close the window, covering it back up with the sheet. I grab a large backpack an throw some of my clothes in, then I throw in my spare phone and a thermal blanket. I put the backpack on and quickly run downstairs to the kitchen. I start to throw food into grocery bags and then I remember that I'll need real blankets and pillows, not just a thermal blanket. I run outside with all my stuff and shove it in the back seat of my old ford pickup. I then go to the garage and grab a case of water bottles and extra blankets and pillows. After I have everything I need in the truck I go back inside. I find paper and a pencil and start to write my father a note. This is what it said:
