Just like every fantasy fairytales this story starts with Once upon a time...cliche? I don't care, I like that saying. And I love fairytales so what's a better way of starting one other than Once upon a time?
Keep thinking...
Give me your examples of a better phrase!
I dare you!

But anyway...

Once upon a time in a country the size of what you're world calls Europe, there was a King. The king was greedy, snobby, and didn't care for others much. His heart was jaded green  and his soul was pitch black. The king got what he wanted when ever he wanted with out getting a no what so ever. He had the riches, the fame, the perfect Queen...but that wasn't enough.
His heart was calling out for more to fill his dark pit. He needed more Land! He needed more gold! He needed a bigger palace! He needed a beautiful mistress! All but two was easier to receive. His palace was expanded and he made one of the young maids his mistress.
And day by day the mistress grew more affection towards the king. With each secret moment they spent together she was sure the king felt the same.
Well until the Queen gave birth to the crown Prince. Matthew Nathaniel Oakheart was his name and he was such a beautiful child.
Matthew become the king's top priority. His Mistress hardly could even get a conversation about their forbidden affairs since all the king wanted to do was talk about his son. Oh how the mistress grew to hate the child.
All the love, time and the bragging-the bragging was the worst.
Angry the mistress had confronted the king and had demanded him to spend time with her Heartbreak and pain wasn't what she had expected. The mistress thought the king loved her like she loved him but she was wrong! The king had embarrassed her infront of the whole court where she decided to confront him.
His exact words: "You're nothing but a whore servant that I had called upon to tend to my needs! Your not worthy to be my lover."
The whole entire court had laughed at her except for the Queen who was just as heartbroken to find out that she was cheated on. The Queen had pitted the mistress even though she slept with a married man but the Mistress didn't  care about the Queens pity. The mistress only cared for revenge. Sourly sweet revenge.

So that night as the King finished documents in his study his Mistress sneaked into the royal chamber where the Queen was rocking her baby asleep and killed her highness.  The screams alerted guards and servants but it was too late.
The piercing sound of the baby wailing had made the mistress smile wide as she pride the innocent life for the dead Queen's arms.
"Shush you little puppy." She cooed coldly to the prince as she dropped him into his little cradle.
The mistress-Regina smirked down at the baby thinking what to do with it when the bedroom door was kicked opened and guards rushed in with their swords drawn and raised.
"Oh look who ruined the party." Regina frowned.

"What is going on here!" The voice of the King demanded pushing the guards and servants out of the way. Upon hearing his voice Regina's frown turned into a smile.
"What! What did you do you dull creature!" The King-King Henry demanded looking horrified. His wife laid bloody on the bed cold dead.
"I love you and you ignored me all because the Queen had your heir."
The king was livid by her answer.
"What we had wasn't Love! It was sin." King Henry spat out.
"It was beautiful!" Regina mumbled tears spilling out against her cheeks when she realized that Henry didn't return her affection.
"It was wrong!" Henry argued.
Regina shook her head refusing to believe him.
She finally had found someone who gave her attention slams she refused to give him up.
"No!" She shouted black magic spooling from her palms to her finger tips.
"You are going to love!"
With a wave of her hand she casted her spell on the king knocking him out.
"I'm your Queen." She growled at the frozen out of fear guards and servants.
"Get this woman out of my bed." She ordered.
They moved hesitantly but when Regina let out a threatening hiss they practically ran towards the dead queen and left with her all within two seconds.
Regina let out a raspy sigh as she turned towards the baby.
"And for you my Prince you'll get the worst of them all!" Regina declared her magic growing around her a thick black smoke building around the two as she crackled.
"You'll be a beast!" Regina sneered throwing her arms down causing the smoke to swallow the prince whole.

By morning questions were bouncing of the Palace walls.
"Where is Queen Anne?"
"Why is Regina wearing the crown?"

Regina smiled at all this chatter as she made her way to the huge balcony where the kingdom below could see and hear her.
Last night after laughing at the poor Prince's deformed body Regina called on a messenger to tell the kingdom that there was announcement.

"My dear people the king has decided that I'm more worthier to be his Queen than Queen Anne who is now deceased for trying to kill me . She couldn't take that fact that your King loved me more. It seems that she couldn't rent to the needs of the king nor the kingdom!" Regina lied snatching the Prince from his nanny's arms.
"She left this monster to be your king! But I say no! I will give you a better heir a more suitable one that will fit the ideal of this kingdom." Regina declared holding up Prince Matthew to the crowd.
The baby's skin was covered in fur his finger nails were claws his legs were the hind legs of a wolf his nose was a snout and his ears were pointy.
The crowd had all screamed and tired their heads in disgust.

Regina smirked at the reaction and threw the baby back to the nanny before strutting back inside
